First positive migration October for NZ nationals since 1992

This graphs shows the net permanent and long-term departures (departures less arrivals) of NZ nationals (citizens).

In October 2009, kiwis returning home outnumbered kiwis leaving for overseas. The last time this happened in an October month was in 1992.

The Law of declining returns finally catches up with New Zealand.

There is no more talent left in New Zealand to export as the gene stock of the remaining population continues to degrade. What fun to watch a country implode, all thanks to socialist losers who want everone else to lose just like them.

I think a lot of Kiwis that head overseas think they could return at some stage, it simply depends on their situation wherever they end up. If they get a good job somewhere they like to be it’s easy to settle in to a new country. If things don’t go so well, and especially if they become redundant or have trouble finding the right sort of job they will come back here. So it is no surprise that in a tough economic year there are less staying away for more than a holiday and there are more coming back.

So there’s a global recession on. What are you actually suggesting DPF? Is this some achievement of JohnBoy or something?
How about you start blogging about real issues instead of NatParty spin?

So the shit “over there” is worse than the shit over here, great. Now we’ll have all loads of people coming back to NZ to go on the dole because there are no fucking jobs here. Especially all those working in the financial industry, just what we need in NZ. Anyone for Tui?

Who needs socialist losers? You sound like you have talked yourself into losing without their help. Good to have someone else to blame though, eh.

It’s probably because Jim Anderton has stopped telling people to come home.

Is there any indication of the origin of the returning kiwis? My guess is that it’s not Australia.

I’m guessing these returning people are the nostalgic type and are coming to have one long last look before the rest of the country is turned over to the racists and you need a brown skin to get in.
