Talking about unequal pay and various agenda’s like that including unequal treatment of people.

The government department whose chief executive is being investigated for an alleged assault on a junior staffer had a culture of bullying, former workers claim.

The Dominion Post revealed yesterday that a complaint about Building and Housing Department chief executive Katrina Bach was being investigated, involving “serious allegations” by a junior employee.

It is understood Ms Bach was allegedly involved in an altercation with Jaime Rawlings in front of several other staff.

The State Services Commission confirmed that an independent inquiry had begun after the allegations were made by Ms Rawlings.

Commission head Iain Rennie said yesterday that Ms Bach, who has been head of the department since 2002, would remain in her post while the inquiry was carried out.

The Dominion Post was contacted yesterday by several people who said they used to work at the department, and all complained of a culture of bullying.

One staffer said: “The place has a primitive culture of bullying … I’ve never worked anywhere with such a culture and where staff were so unhappy.”

Ms Bach has addressed a full staff meeting, telling staff she could not comment on the allegations as it was an employment matter.

Ms Rawlings is on sick leave. She said yesterday that she could not comment on the matter.

So two people involved in an altercation. One a staff member and one a CEO. Guess who gets stood down? Well not the CEO of course but the lowly staff member. Now if the CEO had been Ala
idair Thompson , Helen Kelly and all those type, Shipley etc etc would be baying for his blood.
But, well no its a lady this time you see.

Even a child could see the double standards here.
And notice that all the men in NZ are not out on the streets with banners and the TV hasn’t produced a confrontational doco on the confrontation and its a good bet that they won’t even get the chance to interview a highly paid CEO cause the State Services Commission has shut down the publicity.

Oh and before you all start a rant, bullying is worse than anything Thompson said, which was only the truth.

The lady came from CHCH city council and I hear that they were pleased with her appointment at the time.

Supporters argued that it would give gay teenagers role models and help combat homophobic bullying. It would redress the imbalance in state schools that are already required to teach about women, entrepreneurs and labour and minority ethnic groups including African-Mexican- and Native Americans.

See here’s the thing and it applies to our system as well. Western education is mental, it tilts at the wrong things. They should be tilting at how to become a healthy high-performing dynamo in this wonderful world of ours and using all the psychology of success and fitness and positive thinking and stuff like that, all over the place. This is what world-wide education should be about, but no.

What it is about, is negative thinking. Redressing society’s injustices, imbalances, by learning about them all. Well tell me, if you wanted to become rich, would you go and talk to a rich person, or a poor person, to learn how to? So why do educators seem to imagine the way to produce aforesaid healthy, wise, passionate, loving, beautiful dynamos which surely must be your goal, do you insist on focusing only on stuff that isn’t like that, at all. Why don’t you for example teach both the peaceful and wise ways of Aung San Suu Kyi and the warrior like ways of the Samurai. That suits all types of people, to have a balance. But no. Why teach about heroes and incidentally one who happened to be gay but the rest weren’t, since gays are reputed 10% but I find that hard to believe. That suits all types of people, but no.

Let’s sit back and watch it happen here, in 2018. I’m hoping iPredict opens a stock.

Excellent post V2. The EMA as a private non-government body has a different position in that they didn’t need to involve the SSC CEO but excellent points you raise.

I really hope Thompson takes up Edwards on his offer to take TV3 to the BSA. I really hope he does that. TV3 and Mihi Forbes in particular will be crucified if so and deservedly so. The whole thing was a media farce. The release of that highly edited 3 min segment then the 2-year-old Washington story coming at just at the right time when it had never hit before, indicates some planning behind the scenes and no-one in the MSM apparently was at all suspicious? And these are the people who, listen to it, are PAID TO DO THIS FOR A LIVING.

Yes folks, unlike us, who watch the media outside of work, these people live it. This is their job. And yet, via a simple viewing of the 25 min interview on TV3’s website, all is revealed. Yet the ~~story~~ falsehood that cost a man his job and livelihood anywhere in this country, lives on.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is our MSM, as of last week. Clap, clap, clap.

Honestly between them and the teachers and the other lefties, I’m starting to really think something’s wrong with the water, in this country.

You don’t think it’s at all true then mm. Of course not. The world doesn’t work like the way he says, does it, not in any way.

Naturally one expects most others mileage is going to be quite varied…

What I like is the diabolical symmetry of the whole thing.

Read it to the end though, like I said, it’s quite interesting.

What’s amazing about this stuff – and believe me, there’s plenty more where this came from – is the unblushing shamelessness with which it advocates this economic insanity. Here is the world’s most powerful intergovernmental institution essentially arguing for the destruction of the global economy, enforced rationing, Marxist wealth redistribution, greater regulation, the erosion of property rights and global governance by a new world order of technocrats and bureacrats. And being so upfront about it they actually issue press releases, telling us what they’re planning to do and encouraging us to write about it.

Interesting. The people involved would have to be the most reptilian creatures this side of a primaeval swamp. Indeed I can only think of one person in the last couple of decades who would fully qualify for inclusion in such a cabal. Last I heard of her she was in New York somewhere.

Do you not get a trifle sweaty when you ponder that we live in a nice isolated little country with a low key central bank & a dumbed down population who have total reliance on the gummint. Sweaty like a guinea pig entering a research laboratory.

It’s not so much Hulun who interests me these days nasska it’s her connections. That’s the key. Not who she uses, who uses her and who has mentored her.

Yes that is very odd, isn’t it.

Somehow, someone was detained in LAX over an apparently unseemly matter and then was suddenly released without explanation and the entire, right and left MSM has always maintained absolute and utter silence over the whole affair.

Now how and why could that be. Maybe it didn’t happen? So why not have a SST front-page story on why the widespread rumour that everyone knows about not just journalists, is completely and utterly false?

Why not tell us, if it’s not completely and utterly false and it never even happened?

The MSM these days apparently crucify without compunction lots of people left, right and centre. It is indeed, their job and their duty. That’s the attitude the MSM purportedly and indeed should take toward just about everybody so how come with this one unknown individual and who knows who they are, does it maintain complete utter and absolute silence across the very board??

While I have criticised Hagar in the past for painting innocent activities as sinister, one has to again condemn the complete fool, for once again getting it wrong by missing this apparently extraordinarily mega-sinister of the Death Star class secret and not saying anything about it, at all.

This time, that secret is indeed sinister.

It’s the implication behind that secret. Covering up anything of the size & potential of the LX incident while obviously possible would come at great cost to anyone who provided the service.

With a great cost comes a great payment. Question; Was the currency used favours already received or favours to come?

Either way NZ paid the bill.

V2 thinking further on your 8:11 it’s odd isn’t it how a person like that, could ever become a CEO.

I talk to a guy on the commute sometimes who tells me 50% of psychopaths end up inside and the other 50% end up in management and rise to the most senior levels.

Interesting when you see a woman doing it. Clearly a particularly stupid woman, but nevertheless, how with such a flawed character as to do what she did in front of who it was and apparently other stories are rife, did she ever rise as far as she has and secondly, how many others like her male and female are like her at that level or just below.

I wonder, if someone like PWC did a survey on ratio of psychopaths in top management positions across industry, in which band would the big consulting firms be? I’m predicting the warm and fluffy band, myself.

nasska, yes, it’s a shame she didn’t put that in the pledge card that we paid her to print and distribute nationwide, wasn’t it.
