Today Labour are asking about two questions about Forestry, the Kohanga Reo national trust,  and the Oravida saga. The Greens are asking bout foreign ownership of land, and  housing. New Zealand First is also asking about Oravida. Brendan Horan is asking about the Harini Link.

1. Families Commission Amendment Bill – Third Reading

2. Employment Relations Amendment Bill – Second Reading

3. New Zealand Superannuation and Retirement Income Amendment Bill – First Reading

The Families Commission Amendment Bill is being guided through the house by the Minister for Social Development, . This bill amends the Families Commission Act 2003 to restructure the Commission so that it comprises a single Families Commissioner and other members, amends some functions of the Commission and provides for the appointment of a Social Science Experts Panel to provide academic peer review and guidance.

The Employment Relations Amendment Bill is being guided through the house by the Minister of Labour, Simon Bridges. The bill proposes amendments to the Employment Relations Act 2000.

The New Zealand Superannuation and Retirement Income Amendment Bill is being introduced into the house by the Minister of Finance, Bill English. The primary purpose of this bill is to facilitate the efficient and effective investment of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund.
