A question for the Police

The decision not to prosecute Labour for over-spending would have been made collectively by the Senior Managament of the Police – the Deputy and maybe Assistant Commissioners.

I wonder how many of those involved with making that decision are applicants for the vacant job of Police Commissioner?

And is it possible they realised that nothing would be more likely to kill their chances off than prosecuting the person who makes the decision on who gets the job? I mean that Helen doesn’t hold a grudge does she!

It will be extremely interesting to see who does get appointed Police Commissioner, and what role they had in the decision making on the over-spending.
