Transmission Gully is go!

After decades of wrangling it looks like Transmission Gully is going to happen, having been selected Transit-Greater Wellington regional council committee as the preferred Northern access.

Congratulations to the MPs and others who have been pushing for this. Peter Dunne has been a very consistent long-term champion.

Transit still has to approve the recommendation but if they don’t I think they will set a record for masochism.

I still don’t expect to see the motorway built before 2020 but hey that is only 80 years after it was first proposed!
