Murder vs Manslaughter

Well Ngati Rewiti got found guilty of manslaughter, not murder, in the end.

Based on what has been reported in the media, I still think murder was the appropriate charge. I note he is reported as having done this on several occasions. Also he has refused at all stages to talk to the Police and give a statement – something that suggests this was not his first encounter and I daresay will not be his last.
