Labour “dogs”
The only thing better than a scrap on the left, is when it also involves unions. The Dom Post has details of Service and Food Workers Union northern secretary Jill Ovens saying:
“We have to distinguish between Labour Party apparatchiks (who are dogs) and ordinary working people who believe in Labour,”
I also find it interesting that Darien Fenton didn’t resign as union secretary when she became an MP, but stayed doing both jobs for 10 months. Rather large conflict of interest.
