The law of common sense

The NZ Herald has a good story on Annette King’s new law of common sense, and the second reading of the Electoral Finance Bill.

I suspect lawyers up and down the length of New Zealand are drooling with anticipation at the money they stand to earn from this new law of common sense.

If I was a criminal lawyer with a client in court today, I’d try to get my client off citing this new law of common sense, citing the Minister of Justice. The Judge might just have enough of a sense of humour to at least give it marks for ingenuity.
