It is quite easy to set your settings to do that, whether on a blog or any other web page. DPF doesn’t seem to have his set this way, but my blog. does. You just put your cursor over the link and up comes the preview. 😉

WordPress is not as flexible with the page set up as blogspot. But wordpress is still absolutely FANTASTIC.

Of course it’s his blog and he can do as he pleases, but at least he should have the decency of stating his censorship policy.

Hi Manolo, I’m one of the three bloggers on NewZBlog and we hate censorship as much as you. Like all blogs we receive our share of negative/trolling/down right abusive posts. The vast majority stay but on occasion I have removed a few which were so horrible they wouldn’t even be allowed onto Kiwiblog.

One story over the Xmas break that I was particularly keen on was the great news that Kiwi’s aircraft engineers are about to be offered huge money for short term contracts with Qantas.

The added bonus (along with their reported $80,000) is that these men will be helping to smash the communist controlled unions in Aussie.

SST isn’t a bunch of loons, I respect Garth and – as far as I know, agree with their mission. Tougher sentencing is the way forward – not restricting the freedom of the masses.

Key took his family to hawaii about mid year and is often overseas on “private” business

remember this..
Mr Key’s home was burgled on July 7, when Mr Key and his family were in Hawaii.

A spokesman for Mr Key said jewellery and watches were taken.

andymoore (@11.18) I haven’t said anything since my earlier comment, which you (@12.10) rightly interpreted as totally supportive of your site.

As for the SST I don’t like their knee-jerk reaction that equates longer sentences for any and all offenders with effective justice an rehabilitation. It’s a bit like the “one size fits all” solutions to other things: some welfare recipients are dole bludgers, therefore all welfare recipients deserve to be treated as beneath contempt.

Longer sentences are in order for many offenders. Whereas no jail time at all (with alternate sentencing seeing them repair the damage they’ve done to the community) would be better for some.

But the biggest problem I have with the SST is that a percentage of the people they want to send away for even longer are – given our ludicrous and inept “justice” system – entirely innocent.
