Back Benches on tonight

A reminder to people in Wellington that if you want to see Back Benches filmed live, head down to the Backbencher on Molesworth Street around 8.30 pm for a 9.00 pm start. You can also watch it on Channel 7 if you have Freeview, or on the Internet afterwards.

Incidentially I mentioned last week that one uncouth gentleman used a four letter word that is most unsuitable for live television, and that he was “someone sitting with the Green supporters”

A reader who was in the pub e-mailed me to say that the gentleman was in fact a visiting Pom, who had been roped in by the producer to boost numbers. This makes sense – England is the home of uncouth behaviour 🙂
