Veitchy? Enrolled in full moon drumming course, I heard.

Labour wants NZ tax payers to contribute one dollar per voter to a slush fund of election money for the parties. They’re selling it to their mates in National on the basis of getting their share of a possible 1.8 million. Fuckin bunch of thieves the lot of them. Labour say it’s justified since large private donations are restricted by law. They’re “scared” someone will hijack the government through donations. Who exactly? Oh you know organisations like rainbow labour, or the greens campaigning on environment but really being communists, or Helen’s secret agendas, or John Key’s hidden leftwing agendas. Stuff like that. the only kind of democratic transparency NZ is moving towards is the certainty that whatever you vote for, you’ll not get it, but something else the complete opposite in it’s place, dreamed up by a liar. Who cares if someone we’ve never heard of hi-jacks the election. It’s the same result as we have now: someone we had heard of lied and did something different. Neither scenario represents the people.

Only a union would have the gall to turn around and lay blame on a company for placing temptation infront of their staff. And then go on to say that because only 9 drivers were caght shows that the rest are honest, upstanding citizens!

Be honest you POS unionists. the only reason 9 drivers were caught is because they were dumb enough to keep THIEVING once the change of systems had been implemented. This of course leads me to wonder how many were smart enough to stop offending.

Forty-one former student protesters feel justified with a $200,000 out-of-court settlement for police abuses at a Parliament protest in 1997, with two apologies the icing on the cake.

It was the Police who broke the law in this instance bruv. Hence the settlement and the apology.

One of the protesters, Chris Hipkins, is now a Labour MP but many of the others are responsible members of society, including some with whom I am sure you will have an affinity who have gone on to protest on animal rights issues.

More importantly, I see the Chinese colonial project in Turkestan is running into trouble. I had a discussion with a Han Chinese guy from Kashgar some years ago and his fear and lack of understanding of Uighers was profound. I don’t imagine our government will be saying much about the situation given the Free Trade Agreement and them being all buddy buddy with the Chinese Communist Party leadership these days.

Im confused ,here ,i know we have to give aid , but we give millions to Tonga ruled by a strange despot king and on the other hand we stop funding for special needs children education thereby throwing them on the scrap heap and adult education.I feel john boy key is just continuing the same fuckwit policies of the dumb party of old .Does anyone else sigh at the parties that rule us? i do

Maybe we should have a referendum on removing the rights of women to vote? I even know a few women who would support such a move.

Change of topic for a minute if I may…

Something else to thank greenies for… they are about to kill off fish and chip shops, purveyors of an old NZ (and other British offshoot countries).

The Christchurch Star, the bi-weekly give-away remnant of the city’s evening daily newspaper, reports Ministry of Fisheries biosecurity has approved importing and selling to the shops Vietnamese catfish or basa. These are farm-raised and the Vietnamese reputedly shower them with chemicals. The fish grow in polluted water without any environmental regulation, NZ fishing industry sources say.

Why blame the greenies? Because this follows punitive restrictions that have nearly wiped out the New Zealand inshore fishing industry — the family run small boats that until now have supplied much of our fish for local consumption. The most recent restrictions the greens got laid on this were supposedly to protect Hector’s dolphins, which fishing veterans will tell you aren’t being killed by fishing boats any way. The remnants of this industry haven’t a show of competing against the Vietnamese fish. It may also be relevant that fish and chip shops in what was a market for our coastal fishermen — Australia– are increasingly becoming a Vietnamese ethnic preserve.

The one good Green, Sue Kedgely, is right however, in her battle to have compulsory country-of-origin labelling on food. This seems to be blocked by our agricultural exporters, sucking up to customer countries. Fuck them.

The Vietnamese fish, which is going into ready-made meals and breadcrumbed fish, too.

The Star reports a spokesman for the New Zealand Food Safety Authority saying that the Vietnamese fish could be included in a monitoring programme if there “is sufficient evidence suggesting a food safety and/or suitability problem.” In other words, they don’t want to know.

Be careful about your fish and chips.

New Zealand is treating migrants like waste products using them and then throwing them away, says Wigram MP Jim Anderton. “They come under policies that allow and encourage them to come, and then when things turn bad we kind of dispose of them like a waste product,” he said yesterday. “It’s inhumane.”

So I guess Taito won’t be calling Jimbo as a character witness then?

This is funny – Turkey have started a reality TV Show where religions compete with each other to try and convert Athiests. If any of the atheists convert, they get a free trip to the relevant holy city – Mecca, Jerusalem, Rome.

Bombshell: Supreme Court Now Has Obama Citizenship

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. — In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group Americans for Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.
