Ah, you were hollow on your claims. The quote you provide looks like an opinion based on nothing but conjecture. No analysis, not specific rebuttal, no science. It looks almost identical to others I have seen.

Where are all the others you were referring to?

Exxonsecrets.org lists Exxon’s funding of CEI, based on data released by the company itself, as totalling $2,005,000 since 1998.
