  How are we going to tell Maori from others? Are they going to be implanted so their genetic ethnic proportions are scanable? That way proportionate decision making could be enforced.
  What about tribal differences–these need to be accounted for too as reosuce allocation is involved.

  Wars have been fought over those precious rights of not having a bloody minded Monarch boss us around, tax us and spend as they please.
  
  Ardern & Co. are out of their trees. Her refusal to accept the Auditors ruling means she must go and immediately.
  Labour cannot do anything except talk, so how can they hold themselves out as an executive government?

This confirms both their dishonesty, and the fact they are unequivocally trying to keep their readers in the dark, ?under instruction from Labour?

    Separatism is really the natural state. It is a matter of pure logic that if we had an effective monoculture, cultural separatism would evaporate. Since times out of mind, Humanity managed to organically organise and distinguish our societies from others, primarily along ethnic lines. This was done without UN directives and the like, because, as I say, it is the natural state. Ideological diversity policies are offensive to objective reality for this reason. We knew this for millenia, until we let ourselves be propagandised and convinced over many decades that it isn’t.

      It’s worse than you think then: they are synonymous. Diversity just means the subversion of (internally) non-separatist monocultures. Take a cohesive whole, shatter it into many incohesive sub-cultures by importing them, and then sit back and watch the place fall to pieces. It’s bad enough now with Maori and “Pakeha” issues. What do you think will be the inexorable result of also bringing in half of the third world and adding them to the mix? New Zealand was once European and Maori and a marvelous place to live. The great melting pot doesn’t do it for me. I love going to Italy, Portugal, Spain, etc etc and enjoying new cultures. The tactic is could Deconstructivism where you attack the man and not the ball. Critical Theory are short on facts and trying to refute the evidence that Collins presents would tie them in all sorts of illogical knots of reasoning and expose all their contradictions. We have a direct point of comparison now: anyone who still thinks that the vitriol and opprobrium constantly directed at Trump during his tenure was based on anything objective or on some universally applied standard (rather than on a purely astroturfed, media-driven and politically-motivated campaign to discredit a man who threatened their grip on power), is, frankly, naive and not a serious person. Minister for Homelessness Marama Davidson spoke at a “community justice event” yesterday, hosted by the Waikato Mongrel Mob Kingdom. Leaving aside the optics of a Minister of the Crown speaking from a gang-signed lecturn in gang premises, we should be grateful that Ms Davidson gave us an insight into her beliefs on the causes of gang crime.

I’m sure all those people who have been beaten, robbed, raped, threatened or enslaved into methamphetamine addiction by these fine, upstanding citizens will be glad to know it’s all because of “enduring and systemic racism”.

Cabinet is relying on sleepy thinkers and time addled journals like Tracey Watkins to invoke the ghosts of Christmases Past to turn on National but it has clearly underestimated the New Zealand voter by a long shot. Labour will get its arse handed to it on a platter because Kiwis will give a lot a fair go but don’t ever try to take away our Rights or fuck with our neighborly social contract. I have become angry about the vitriol heaped on David Seymour about him being a discretionary beneficiary in a trust.
And then I thought; if I settled $10,000 on a discretionary trust; the residuary beneficiaries of which were to be our four grandchildren; the discretionary beneficiaries to be all current politicians of the Labour Party and the Green Party;
the trustees to be Don Brash, Cameron Slater and David Farrar, who would have totally unfettered discretion as regards discretionary beneficiaries.
Can you imagine the discomfort that the likes of Gohlriz and Willie Jackson etc declaring that they are discretionary beneficiaries in a trust which has amongst its trustees, Cameron Slater.
Imagine their discomfort as they complete their “personal interests” register.
My wife would have the power to hire and fire trustees, so if Don, Cam and DPF misbehaved she would replace them. Also, and this is important, if any discretionary beneficiary brought a claim against the trustees, the trustees would be replaced by new trustees. That merry go round could continue until legal fees exhausted the Trust Fund.
Hopefully readers will now have some understanding about how David Seymour has been unjustly treated by the news media.

  David brought this on himself by not declaring an interest in the properties as required. This possibly over several years in parliament. Hard to know when he was made a beneficiary because, as you say, the “story that leaves out key facts”.
  
  The real story of course is that David prides himself on accuracy of compliance and regularly uses others’ lapses to attack them politically, yet he wants us to accept he simply forgot to fill in the forms correctly over several years.
  
  It’s a shame for him, ACT, and the Tax Payers’ Union because one of their main vehicles for generating publicity (using parliamentary integrity as a weapon against others) has been severely damaged.

Tauranga Property Investors Association president Juli Tolley said the biggest challenge was the demoralising effect of the negative rhetoric on people.

“For all the hoopla about mental health and messages of ‘be kind’, the language used by both the Government and media towards landlords has been anything but kind. The messages have bashed the hell out of people that dared to save and work extra to get ahead and save for retirement.”

Yep … and as a recently retired landlord (Phew!) I can readily identify with these sentiments.

My experiences renting three properties were “not good”.

I (unwisely?) eschewed the services of a professional property manager preferring to trust and support people needing good (not fine) and affordable accommodation in a rural setting.

For my trouble I got:

A violent meth addict.

A druggie who stole my farming equipment and road trailer

An alkie lady with bad housekeeping habits

Numerous disgusting cleanups after vacating

Thousands of $$’s in irretrievable unpaid rent

I know … I know! … it could have been worse (gangs-meth labs) but that is the point.

My tenants were all vetted and apparently “worthy causes”.

Yeah right.

Getting kicked in the guts by this band of typical Kiwi battlers! has left a bitter taste.

I did not even breakeven on rentals after taking into account repairs, property maintenance and admin costs.

I hope the reporting of this saga is useful to others … as a salutary warning

  People might say how did rent arrears get that bad. A Tenancy Tribunal case a few month’s earlier was taken when rent arrears were a lot less, and assume the order made against the tenants then required them to pay the arrears alongside current rent as that is the usual requirement.
  
  Clearly did not happen, plus tenants (who were evicted) left the place in very poor condition.
  
  I doubt the landlord is going to see much of the arrears, if any, but there is a long list of recalcitrant tenants now with names in lights in the TT decision.
  
  Just mentioning this case, which AFAIK, never caught the attention of the MSM, to support what lazza said. Now that it is very difficult to terminate tenancies no surprises that some landlords are saying sod this for a game of soldiers.

At the same time as Judith Collins utters her “desperate” comments against separatism, she announces National will stand candidates in Maori Seats, endorsing and condoning that aspect of separatism in Parliament, when Maori representation is at an all time high anyway.

And ironically. the Labour Maori caucus last term seemed to do almost noting – except destroy partnership schools, which (despite a few hiccups) were successfully delivering education to the tail of the system (the lowest social statistics, which may soon be “hate speech” to mention) – but schools which were a form of “indigenous” recognition that Willie Jackson and his caucus colleagues killed off.

Do either National or Labour know what they are doing?

  Stepped of airplane from Singapore to Auckland after a very regimental and disciplined crowd control in Singapore with various International flights transiting S’pore.

  Including quarantine in Indonesia , It will be likely 25 days total in Q.

  Such is the life of a seafarer now. What used to cost 4-5K US per crew now costs 20K upwards for repatriation.
  Mostly all seafaring countries dont rely on seafarers doing quarantine due to the very nature of being a seafarer, IE at sea.
  However NZ under all the wisdom of the “Fabulous Furry Freak brothers” mentality state otherwise.

After enormous speculation, the Tax Working Group presented its report on a Capital Gains Tax.
The population waited for Government to select from that report what it wanted to do and define more tightly what might be proposed as law, but Ardern didn’t deliver. A Cabinet void lasting several weeks was filled with speculation from journalists/would-be-politicians, actual opposition party comment and reaction from involved experts, which Ardern later claimed was us having a “Conversation”, then she went absolutely cold on it and threw everything out with the bath water and will not countenance the concept again while she is Prime Minister.
Although she herself favoured some sort of tax, she had gauged it had no wide public support so was gone.

So asked back in September last year – “What do you say to any politician or political party who wants to defend freedom of speech and believes that any expansion of those [laws] would threaten it?”, she responded with a beatific smile and raised arms, declaring triumphantly: “We take our lead from New Zealanders, our communities, and our societies…”

Like she did Capital Gain Tax? We will see.

I remember when

All the results that most expected them to find.
Perhaps a study of the relative percentage of time the parents spent in direct contact with their children would also have been interesting.

So much for a labour gubmint protecting workers’ rights.

And I’ve no doubt that the Media party who seem comfortable with this would attack a “Tory” gubmint for same.

  The workers have the right to refuse the vaccine. The employers have the right to sack them if they can’t find suitable alternative employment for them. Sounds fair enough to me.

      If the employees choose to stick an ultra-violet light up their arse and drink bleach, that is their right. If the employers prefer to have people who actually have some prospect of not catching or transmitting the virus, that is their right.

Any political party that thinks it can contest the 2023 election by ignoring or not platforming strongly on law and order is in for a hiding, hopefully.

Our country is falling apart at the seams and the gangs + wannabes are emboldened to the point that in some areas, the cops are not their issue, the other gangs are.

If we don’t get on top of it, we’ll make Mexico look like play school.

A guy named James Crowe was just on the midday RNZ news complaining about number plates beginning with NGR being racially offensive. Waka Kotahi says it will investigate not putting them into circulation. James Crowe and NGR?? Please tell me this is a piss-take.

When asked by a reporter what Jenner thought of certain states that have passed legislation to protect girls’ sports from transgender biological boys participating in them, Jenner said, “This is a question of fairness.”

“That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school,” Jenner said.

“It just isn’t fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports in our schools, Jenner reiterated.
