Covid- 19 Coronavirus community case:
New Zealand including Auckland and Coromandel in alert level 4 lockdown; Four new Delta cases, in Auckland, hospital staff member tests positive.
It was always on the cards to happen whether you believed Jacinda Ardern our Prime Minister and Health Ministry Director Ashley Bloomfield had the skill to prevent it and when twopeople visit a bar on the Coromandel in two consecutive night with patrons of 70 to 80 each night the result could turn out to be New Zealand ‘s worst nightmare, with breaking news that the total increasing to five cases just confirm all with the Delta strain.
I wonder whether this will bring outrage to New Zealander’s as many thought Jacinda Ardern our Prime Minister was their saviour and it couldn’t overtake New Zealand, not saying it has but if other countries are to go by then Jacinda Ardern and her team of 5 million better start praying for a miracle.

      Yes a very devious PM The NZ Initiative has been checking on Govt Covid spending and
      they found that the government had blown a pile of the emergency Covid money on the free school lunch programme.
      
      The free school lunches programme draws on special Covid recovery funds for another two and a half years, despite Treasury’s misgivings about depleting the emergency money reserved against a resurgence of the virus.
      
      The Covid-19 Relief and Recovery fund (CRRF) is a $50 billion pot of money that was established in the early days of the pandemic to respond to the health emergency and its economic fallout.
      
      It’s been tapped for a wide range of Covid-19 related expenses, but the Government has also used it for a range of increasingly tangential “Covid recovery” spending, and just $5.1b remained in the kitty at last tally.

    Isn’t one of the cases fully vaccinated, I think they are mostly useless and in some cases dangerous but if people want to get them then they can. What I am more worried about is it becoming compulsory as that is taking this country into a new territory we may not want to go near.

      Remember once we are all vaccinated, we will be safe and life can return to normal.
      
      My concern is that the vaccine may kill any natural immunity dooming us to a life time of booster shots.

      If MIQ works as advertised, then isn’t it likely – as we see from the double-dosed health worker – that it is the vaccine itself that is the source of the “Delta variant”? After all, unlike normal vaccines, mRNA vaccines operate by altering your genes in order to produce spiked proteins (i.e. Covid spiked proteins), which your immune system then responds to. It is certainly evident now that, at least, the mRNA shots do not prevent illness.

      No-one in the government thought it was possible that Covid could get into the community before everyone was vaccinated. So the idea of designing vaccination centres to vaccinate with the virus in the community didn’t actually occur to anyone.
      
      But if it had, I promise you they would have taken it seriously. There would have been an Announcement.

    Reports internationally are the more who are “vaccinated” the more who are being re-infected.
    
    What test is being used for this lock down event? The WHO has called for re-testing everyone as the test was grossly unreliable–it automatically produced false positives.
    
    There really is no reliable test. Govts have a duty of care and to lock down New Zealand on the basis of a single episode pointed out by an unreliable test is a failure. The choice of test alone can be sufficient to obtain a positive. Any replication test over 25 is too hazardous to make decisions on. I doubt if it is legal when fully examined. Its a speculative breach of freedom.
    
    That means greater caution in govt action is required–not their friendly experts. Removing the people briefly may be tolerable and pursuing contacts but it is impossible to justify shutting down a nation or stressing it’s mental health on the basis of so much subjectivity and political aspirations.

    Yes, that was my thought too. When Jacinda said he was “broadly speaking a tradesperson”, I interpreted that as meaning he wasn’t a tradie but he did drive a ute.

    Two ministers front up and tell the 5 million followers that if you are all vaccinated, you will be still be locked down .
    A fully vaccinated nurse tests positive.

      I have, but it doesn’t stop me commenting on this evil and censorship that is being perpetrated, I know they are trying very hard to shut this down, but they won’t. They can try to remove freedoms, people with a spine will stand up.
      Not convinced everyone stands around and accepts everything they say because they are in government.
      Just a few years back, it was normal to question a governments ideals and objectives. It used to be called democracy.

        However, he does have the ability to express his views.
        Yep, sometimes it means you have to read his stuff slowly, or even reread sections.
        
        This blog isn’t restricted to those with a pass in SC English or NCEA-Level 1.
        
        It’s an open forum… a bit like the folks we meet each day in life….some folks speak concisely and clearly, some have difficulty expressing their ideas, and some just burble nonsense.

  The ODT editorial today was of course a blistering attack on National and ACT. Media deflection when months of shambolic governance have led us to this point. If the Delta virus has spread quickly the economic damage is going to be significant. I hope we dodge the bullet health wise but the Government’s inept vaccine delivery has put many communities at risk.

  And if this is a major outbreak, NZers will finally get to see just how far this government will go in suppressing freedoms and mandating behaviour.
  
  We’ve all seen the reports coming out of Australia, Europe and the US with everything from military on the streets to mask mandates to vaccine passports and outright demonisation and suppression of any opinion that differs from the officially-sanctioned view.
  
  Due to sheer luck and vast oceans we’ve managed to avoid the worst excesses of everything, from deaths to authoritarianism. Given the right circumstances Kiwis might will get an education in the unlimited power of the state and the terrible consequences of complacency.

1/ When sufficiently frightened, many people will not only accept authoritarianism, but demand it.

2/ Fear of death is only rivalled by the fear of social disapproval. The latter could be stronger.

8/ Many politicians, activists and large corporations will gladly sacrifice human lives if it’s conducive to their political and financial aspirations.

9/ A significant % of people have strong authoritarian tendencies.

10/ A significant % of people enjoy being subjugated.

11/ Many people value safety and security more than freedom and liberty, even if said ‘safety’ is merely an illusion.

12/ Once they have made up their mind, most people would rather commit to being wrong, than admit they were wrong.

13/ Freedom of speech is the most effective “vaccine” against tyranny.

14/ The once “Free World” is rapidly converting into a Frankenstein monster of the evils it had fought against in the past 100 years.

15/ There is still hope. As there are still legions of us that will fight for freedom and equality under the law for ALL people.

    And that is how they measure covid. But if you look at the adverse events. they have 20 people have died in nz after taking the vax.
    
    And medsafe says, “By chance, some people will experience new illnesses or die from a pre-existing condition shortly after vaccination, especially if they are elderly. Therefore, part of our review process includes comparing natural death rates to observed death rates following vaccination, to determine if there are any specific trends or patterns that might indicate a vaccine safety concern. There are currently no indications to suggest that the vaccine caused the deaths.”
    
    Um ok. So 20 adverse reactions after a vaccine and 20 people would have probably died in that week anyways? So therefore no link. That’s not the lens they ran over covid deaths though is it.

      Exactly. The CDC isn’t even counting breakthrough cases anymore. PCR test threshold limit lowered after vaccine became available. All of this makes the vaccine look much more effective than it actually is.
      
      You’d have to have rocks in your head to not realise there is a hidden agenda behind all of this.

        Thats because because the right believe in things like free speech, compassion and tolerance. So when a leftist says horrible or stupid stuff then the left are ok with it and the right tolerate it because they believe people should be able to have their own opinions and voice them.
        On the other hand, when someone says something against the leftist narrative they risk being persecuted, they loose their jobs, suffer endless pile on abuse from leftests, suffer unreasonable approaches from law enforcement, and in some cases go to jail in places like the UK, and soon here.

  You have to admit, the timing is rather convenient for Jacinda, considering the narrative….
  
  however, I don’t think the effect of this lockdown will be the same. The shambles that is our vaccine rollout, and the fact that this lurgi somehow got through will be debated for some time.
  
  One only has to look at how few Port Workers were vaccinated to realise that so much of what the government could have done, wasn’t done.
  
  We have avoided the worst of this by sheer luck and geographical isolation. I think that luck may have just run out.

      COVID will never be controlled, it can live in animals. You will never eradicate it, and the virus mutates to be more contagious and less deadly. The purpose of a virus is to multiply without killing the host, the only way to live with it is for your immune system to fight it. You body fights off millions of viruses, bacteria and cancer cells everyday, it can cope with COVID, but to help it along, people may want to get vaccinated. Sweden new this at the beginning and planned for it as we all know. So I have a plan that will make sleep at night, get vaccinated and more on with life. If people want to be a prisoner in their own country, do what you must. All of the above is is well known, but politicians in some countries tend to ignore these simple facts.

      It’s a fallacy to say the polls endorse anything. The polls simply reflect what people believe, which is a reflection of what they have been told.
      For 4+ years the MSM have told us the Liebour government are fantastic and Jacinda can do nothing wrong. Similarly with Covid they have published only one narrative and all else was conspiracy. Now that the truth about Jacinda and Liebour is finally starting to come out, the polls reflect that hence the significant drop in Liebour support over the past 2 polls.
      This “outbreak” is going to damage liebour even more, for at least 2 reasons: 1) By far the majority of open minded people are against the lock down and realise it’s negative impact. 2) A full vaccinated nurse has caught the virus, and the government and MSM have been telling us the solution to Covid is the vaccine.
      I expect vaccination rates level off as people become more skeptical.

        Covid management has been a total fail. We have just been lucky.
        
        What we did do is half heartedly lock down entire parts of the country with zero cases for extended periods, stupidly spend all our reserves when there was no emergency to speak of.
        
        Then we did not prepare, we actually reduced the number of ICU units we do have available, and we not vaccinate nearly fast enough (and we got lied to about the status of that and that continues to happen).
        
        How we may have an outbreak we are not prepared, not vaccinated, and we will even stop vaccinating for a while.
        
        On top of that, we have much depleted reserves.

    Lack of clear advise by Minister of transport and Maritime NZ.
    The reason why, is that the Ports are run as on an economic business unit as opposed to a National Strategic Asset.
    
    But the real problem is No experience in how Maritime operations operate in the real World and the immediate problems such as COVID generate.
    
    Look at Singapore and MPA ( Singapore Maritme Ports Authority) to see how a co-ordinated approach should minimalise any breaches of Safety/Security.
    
    Too be perfectly honest, I’m very surprised there has’nt been more breaches with Port workers.
    
    Easy solution is to align entry into the Port with Maritime security card as ISPS ( International Ship & Port Security) with Proof of Covid Jab and Port induction. This covers anyone entering any Port through security gates.
    
    Another serious breach is not commandeering a Port for crew change ( Lyttleton be perfect with the now useless cruise ship terminal).
    
    My previous posts outline how IMO ( international Maritime Organisation) outlines best practice.
    
    Also of serious concern to me is the Maritime Declaration of Health form that is submitted pre arrival, Any Illnesses identified and vessel quaratined till cleared by Health Officials and pose no issues.
    This is the most serious document that you submit, And face serious consequences if not accurate.

    Right now I am persuaded by the evidence from Israel

And to repeat what I said last week, the idea that “we can stamp it out like measles” is absurd. Unless the Government Ministers are looking at data on vaccine efficacy that is different to what I look at.
    
    The BEST case scenario is a future generation vaccine that IS like the measles vaccine. That would effectively end the pandemic. Until then the current strategy is nuts.
    
    BTW only New Zealand could suspend vaccine shots for two days during an outbreak.

      Tweedse, can you think of a practical alternative to what Dead Ernest has proposed?
      The virus is not going away. Vaccination does seem to reduce the severity of infection. The only alternative to making the vaccine available then opening up is to stay closed forever.
      As to treating those who suffer side effects from vaccination, we would do that on the same basis that we offer medical treatment to everyone else who is eligible in NZ. There is no playing God about it.
      And remember that staying closed has an impact too. I work with people who have separated from wives and children since this thing began; that has a cost. Closed businesses which then go bust have a cost too. So does delayed diagnosis and treatment for other medical conditions.
      
      If you can think of another way out, please, let the rest of us know about it.

    Apart from the fact that you’re quite wrong about the potential severity (go and have a look at Israel’s situation, where the percentage of those hospitalised who also have been vaccinated is in the high 90s), your logic is all wrong. If you can still get it and pass it on then being vaccinated is no security at all.
    
    Again, have a look at Israel, which has one of the highest percentages of people vaccinated (with the Pfizer experiment) in the world, and has seen the efficacy plummet and hundreds hospitalised.

    DE, you may well be correct but in the US they have a problem. Nurses have been told ‘no jab, no job’. As they are desperately short of nurses the rule has been quietly dropped. Perhaps those nurses just want the vaccine to be given a good trial run of more than 12 months, after all they give all sort of jabs to prevent all sorts of diseases using well tested and FDA approved products.

    Living in the tropics, I learned don’t take the anti-malerial drugs until you get material. The reason was the drugs masked the fact you had material, instead it made you think you had a dose of the flu.
    
    Could the covid vaccines be no different? Because as others have written, fully vaccinated cases are catching covid, and there have been instances of people passing it on.

  Even the Flu jab won’t stop you from getting the flu, It can still get through, however, the effects of getting the flu after a jab are far reduced.
  
  It’s the same with the Pfizer Jab. It gives your immune system a heads up, so the body can fight it off easier, and Covid won’t kill you.

    The flu jab and the Pfizer experiment are quite different – the flu jab contains small amounts of whichever strains of the flu virus the authorities have determined are likely to hit New Zealand each winter.
    
    The Pfizer jab contains no virus and is an mRNA vaccine, and is supposed to create spike proteins that mimic what would happen if you get COVID, and therefore teach your body how to recognise and deal with them.
    
    The reason some people still get the flu is almost invariably because they get a different strain of the flu virus, rather than a lack of efficacy in the vaccine itself.

    I don’t think that is quite true, about the flu vaccines. They only protect (and reasonably so) against specified variants (like, say H1N1) and most breakthrough cases are of a different variant, especially as the vaccine is made up in advance and usually contains only a guess at what variants will be dominant in a particular year. If they guess wrong, the vaccine can be relatively ineffective (say < 40% effective).
    
    But as you usually catch a variant you are not primed to deal with, the symptoms/effects are not mitigated to any particular degree.

  Alex, it will be a case of how much we are told, or what version of the truth we are given.
  
  For example yesterday, it was:
  1. A 58 year old from Devonport;
  2. He was infectious from 12th
  3. Wife negative and fully vaccinated
  4 have a 3 day weekend in the Coromandel
  5 23 places of interest, 13 in the Coromandel, that means 10 in Auck. 15 are listed, the other 8 turn out to be private homes.
  
  Then this morning:
  1. 4 new cases, all linked to the 58 year old. 1 is a fully vaccinated hospital worker.
  2. Ward 65 of Auckland Hospital is now a place of interest.
  3. No genome sequence yet, but everything above has been reported in multiple media outlets.
  
  Any bets the original source was the MIQ case transferred to Auckland Hospital 10 days ago?
  
  On that basis, they have either been behind the game or are not telling us the truth.
  
  I still haven’t heard a plausible reason why they stopped the vaccinations for 48 hours. Anybody know, other than transferring people to testing? Which doesn’t really make sense outside Auckland/Waikato.

    The story I have read is that the fear the vaccination centres could become Covid spreading centres. They were not sufficient in preparation for vaccination during an outbreak so they are pausing while they beef up procedures to reduce the danger that people going to get a jab will simply spread the virus to others there.

  I’m not anti-Vaxxer by any means. But the facts as the stand indicate to me that this vaccine would/will not pass all trials. Safety concerns aside, it simply isn’t effective enough to be given as a vaccine, and the more studies that go on the less effective it has been shown to be. This is not uncommon for novel treatments, that’s why so many of them fail. Difference is they will have sold 3-5 billion doses by the time we draw that conclusion.

  My double vaxxed daughter got Covid-19 15 days after her second jab. There is a picture emerging on reduced protection (immunosuppression) immediately after the jab. Pretty common for recently jabbed Londoners to get Covid-19.
  
  And remember that once the initial immunosuppression has passed, the effective protection drops from ~70% (lots of different claims) to below 20% (Israeli health ministry study)
  
  As for being sold a pup, well yes we have. Ardern keeps describing the Pfizer vax in terms of the measles vaccine. That is scurrilous lying on her part, and she knows it.

      I know you keep posting that page, but it is outdated and wrong, as are you. I devote between 30 and 60 minutes every day, looking at all available data on COVID.
      
      The conclusion is clear. If a vaccinated person catches the delta strain of COVID they are likely to only get disease with mild symptoms. But they are HIGHLY infectious.
      
      Therefore, as I have said repeatedly, the vaccines will not stop COVID becoming endemic in New Zealand. Simple as that.

    The test is a farce the way it is used: it can produce positives to order. Who is overseeing that? Is there any independent checking like a full examination of symptoms and cultures? With the promoters having kick backs from patents the integrity of the whole kaboodle merits severe watchfulness.

  A concern I see is lots of talk of expensive ventilators being our savior, when we now know that ventilation is late stages can hasten death. Late stage Covid-19 is primarily a hyper-inflammatory response, rather than a respiratory one.

Last time I checked, it wasn’t the colonisers that were telling Maori women they aren’t allowed to speak on marae; or that women who were menstruating had to stay away from common areas because of their tapu state, and were not allowed to enter the whare mata (housing for nets and snares), cultivated areas, shoreline or food storage areas, or associate with men or their belongings.
  
  I also note that Ms Ngarewa-Packer states that “being proud to be wāhine Māori is not anti-Pākehā”. Unfortunately, so much of what we see and hear from Maori leaders, politicians, and sometimes non-Maori as well, does come across as anti-Pakeha. These are the people who engage in ethnocentrism, and imply that Maori culture is vastly superior to the other cultures that make up New Zealand.
  
  I have no problem with Maori being proud of their heritage, their myths and legends, and their culture. But is it too much to ask that they, in turn, show the same respect for the rest of us? Can we all be permitted to have pride in our own unique heritage, legends, and culture? It would be nice to think that, in the “united Aotearoa” that Ms Ngarewa-Packer calls for, this was acceptable.

Someone on the radio last night was patiently explaining why we can’t handle this with contact tracing and more lenient lockdowns, as with past outbreaks.

“Delta’s more contagious, yadda yadda”.

But if Delta is, say, twice as contagious, then hire five times as many people to do the contact tracing. Moving mountains along those lines would surely be better than Level 4 cutting a scythe through the economy and citizen freedoms.

    The contact tracing approach has worked here, and that’s even with this government running the show. Double/triple the effort. Do whatever it takes. The point is that Level 4 lockdowns are the most extreme disruptions our societies have ever experienced, short of massive natural disasters and wars.   There is a more fundamental problem with contact tracing and Delta.
  
  People go from infected to infectious faster than the early strains, so by the time someone has a positive test it may be too late to isolate close contacts to protect them from the initial case.

I’m confused about how the QR code-based contact tracing is supposed to work. We’ve been told that you can transmit this variant by walking past someone in the street, saying “hello” to a neighbour, or by having two doors open at the same time. Our contract tracing system doesn’t capture any of those contacts.

Do we need QR codes on people so that we can scan strangers as we pass them in the street, or spot them through an open door?

  My GP was packed with people waiting either for a jab, or for their 20 minutes wait post-jab. The shape of their premises makes social distancing impossible in the waiting area.
  
  You can’t operate like that at level 4, so I was expecting they would have to totally rejig, and redo the appointments.

One of the most alarming things about the response to the pandemic by democratic governments across the world is the enthusiasm with which they’ve granted themselves ’emergency’ powers, suspending civil rights – and elections – so that they might better deal with the ‘crisis’. Executive have faced little opposition from legislatures, attempts to restrain political leaders through the courts have been largely unsuccessful and the media has, for the most part, failed to hold them to account. Bad though this has been, however, we have always been able to take some comfort from the fact that these extraordinary powers were temporary and that, eventually, when things returned to normal, governments would have to relinquish them.

Turns out, that was naive. The Scottish Government has unveiled plans to make its ’emergency’ Covid powers permanent

Mr Swinney insisted measures that were no longer needed would be removed, but argued those with “demonstrable benefit to the people of Scotland” should be retained for use against Covid or anything else deemed a public health threat.

He argued the consultation was “an opportunity to maintain changes that have been welcomed by people who now don’t want to lose transformations that have been innovative” during the pandemic.

This is interesting – an October 2020 paper discussing the inadequacy of the warnings for risk of antibody-dependent enhancement of covid disease potentially cause by the vaccines. (ADE is when your body suffers a damaging inflammatory reaction when encountering the virus after the vaccine, due to specific effects on the immune response. It is a known problem with some vaccines.)

Key point – the short testing phase of the vaccines, during lockdowns in many places, would not have allowed for many vaccinated subjects to encounter circulating covid, so the absence of evidence of ADE in the trials is not sufficient to alleviate the concern. We have said Jacinda, in some ways, been lucky to have escaped a major covid outbreak so far.
This, she said, has allowed us to benefit from the ongoing research and knowledge of changes to covid behaviour.
So how have we used this knowledge –
level 4 – working from top to bottom instead of increasing when necessary.
lockdown – same as last year
masks – same as last year
isolate at home – same as last year
exercise in own neighbourhood – same as last year
essential services – as per end of last lockdown
travel – as before
supermarkets/supplies – same as last year
butchers/greengrocers – ????
It has certainly been time well spent.
Great to get that extra experience.

  Wait for the update today. Apparently the spread is not insignificant which means it is Delta.
  
  And re young people, the answer is that we cannot vaccinate them yet. Which to be fair is mainly due to approval processes outside of NZ’s control.

Where did all these masks come from?

Went to the supermarket this morning, and of the people in line and in the store, at least 80% would have been masked, often with thin disposables but about half with cloth masks, many that looked quite high quality.

Now, during the original lockdown, I saw very few with masks–none really–and subsequently I’ve only seen people who looked very frail wearing one, and again, extremely rare.

Did people buy these months ago and have no reason to use them? Or did a Masked Santa Claus drop one down everyone’s chimney last night and I missed out?

How many here have had a mask for a long time but had no reason to use it?

  Of course the police must have formulated a detailed strategy for further lockdowns. You can talk about bureaucratic incompetency all you like (and I do) but this is a no brainer. All it took was for the government to issue the order.
  
  Especially since the legality of many aspects of the first lockdown were at best suspect and at worst actual violations of rights.
  
  No, they’ve got their ducks in a row and as I said above, if this thing gets out of hand Kiwis are going to get a proper taste of being dictated to by faceless bureaucrats and cops, just as as we’ve witnessed overseas, but have sat smugly back saying, ooh, isn’t it awful, but not here, no, no, not in Good Old EnZed where Jacindarella rules.
  
  Kiwis are a compliant bunch–an overly compliant bunch–tall poppies, Team of Five Million, yada yada, so as a sort of sociological experiment it’ll be instructive to see how much they’re willing to be pushed around if the push comes to an actual shove.

      or it could be it has been in the community for that long, it might only be 3 generations if it was near the last flights it came in. Especially young people, how many of them have a bit of a tickle in their throat or a mild head ache for a couple days go out of their way to get tested? It might just be that the 58 year old was the first one to develop symptoms significant enough to warrant getting tested, especially when we were being told that there was no way it was in the community only a few days ago.

  The real issue is the quality of the tests and likewise the “vaccines”. There are plenty of warnings out there that they are not fit for purpose. Also, they are implicated in creating further COVID episodes (Israel among others). (Israel) Great if you are a no-responsibility paid supplier.
  
  It should be illegal to use a PCR test without proof of the multiplication rate and independent verification in each supposed positive instance. The WHO has said it wants all the previously tested re-tested under a lower PCR regime.
  
  We can be blinded by fear and science. It’s the govt’s duty to prevent that. The Nuremberg convention is in force here but ignored. Wars have been fought over the personal right to freedom.

    If they join it, then they endorse it & by extension the vigilante efforts of Maori.
    
    Vigilante efforts are no more acceptable when behind the guise of racial sovereignty. This is flexing muscle, by those that feel entitled to do so.
    
    The look is of banditry to me, balaclavas (not masks), gumboots, and a large stick. I still recall windscreens being smashed at Moutoa gardens by Maori during protest road-blocks when motorists did not comply.
    For police to continue to either fail to act, or allow this, is shameful.
    
    If someone forced their way through, when being unlawfully stopped (no signage to even explain), and violence resulted – I expect the sacred brown cows of NZ will be fine but the law will take a dim view of otherwise law-abiding citizens standing up for themselves or simply refusing to be prevented from passage on the road.

In EU every country has over 1000 cases per day and they are not in a lockdown and all borders are open.

There has been some profligate spending making a mockery of Parliament’s sovereignty over spending. Borrowing is not a lawful bypass nor is having a temporary large majority.

I am writing you today to inform you of the thousands of lives you have endangered all due to one sick person. If health was truly important to you and your team, why then did you not react to thousands of kids in hospital the past 3 months with RSV? 9 deaths!!!
You push a vaccine onto people, threatening their jobs if they do not comply, while ignoring the ever climbing statistics of death post vaccination. You claim it’s “absolutely safe and effective” while ignoring the global data that shows your words are nothing but lies.
Why do you say lockdown is for our safety while ignoring the thousands of children who are now trapped in a violent and unstable home with no food?
What about family members who can not see sick loved ones in hospital or grandparents on their deathbed?
You constantly put your image and your desire for control over the needs of our most important and vulnerable members of society: OUR KIDS!
You create panic and fear on a daily basis while ignoring the real problem…your narcissistic agenda!
There are healthy people out there who don’t want or need you to hold their hand, they are considerate and smart enough to know how to live their lives while not putting anyone in danger yet you consider everyone to have the mentality of a toddler and speak to us as though we have no way of thinking for ourselves.
To say I’m angry at your reckless agenda is putting it lightly. You are endangering more lives and livelihoods than you pretend to protect. You are looking to your future role at the United Nations rather than looking to your employers, the people!
Your time is up. There are literally tens of thousands of people who are now readying themselves to inform you that your time is up, your reign of fear and terror is over. We have no confidence in you or your teams ability to lead a country…you failed massively and the people will say as much and more.
We will ensure you go down in history as the tyrant you are and will forever remind our children you were nothing like the image you projected.

  Communications is about getting your message across clearly.
  You can only do that when there is one message being delivered at a time in each domain, especially when the different subjects are in conflict.
  
  You thus have to ignore/hide other issues because that makes things more complex and less clear.
  
  For examples:
  * Health: It’s all about CV19. Ignore/hide cancer. Ignore/hide RSV. Ignore/hide obesity, nursing shortage/strikes, doctor shortage/strikes etc etc etc.
  * Environment: It’s all about climate change. Ignore/tune out everything else.
  * CV19 handling: It’s all about the low case count and deaths. Ignore the other things being harmed in the process: economy, lives, etc etc.

This government is going to pay companies that can prove that their income has dropped by 30% or 40% a certain amount per employee so they can keep their employees employed.

That might work for some companies such as restaurants but does nothing to help compensate small manufacturers that can’t prove an immediate loss of income.

Last months sales will show up in this months books but if they support their employees by paying their wages when not allowed to go to work they will not be able to show an immediate drop in income.

Large businesses who have the staff to organize the government subsidies will do so but small businesses will just have to suck it up.
