Oh I just can not resist

Ah poor Rodney, don’t take it too badly.Remember Norm Hewitt does not have a neck either and he seems to have fallen on his feet lately despite excruciating taste in costumes.Hang loose boyo.

Any Dave…whats with that cowardly, flip flop on welfare and the DPB we saw this weekend, the Nats reverting to form, ie Spineless?

“..whats with that cowardly, flip flop on welfare and the DPB we saw this weekend,..”
no james, it’s called either not scaring the horses or pitching for the centre ground..and in this case is a combination of both..(or else they are just lying, eh?..but we’ll pretend for now they are not..)
y’see james, elections aren’t won out on the fringes where you and i dwell in our different corners..they are won in the centre..
and those in national with any brains know they have shot their bolt, and don’t really stand a chance this time out (and who would want cohabition with peters anyway..shudder..)..and they know the party has to reclaim the centre from labour..and bashing benificiaries in anything other than rhetoric will excite fringe-dwellers on the right like yourself, but do nothing for that crucial centre/moderate voter..
and i don’t understand you actites whinging about the nats being centreist..dosen’t that leave you room to strut your stuff..?..or is it just that you haven’t really got anything to strut or say, except to whinge about your natural coalition partner..go figure..
you’re either whinging that they’ve gone soft, or you are whinging that they have stolen your/act policies..make your mind up, eh?..and poor you, eh?..
act:..the party that has raised whinging to an art form..so much so that is all they can do…policies..?..ideas..?..pah!
so through your own incompetences and failures to sell your messages to the electorate you have put national in the unfortunate and unsavoury, on too many levels to list, position of having to consider peters…
from my perspective of course ‘well done’ and ‘carry on’…
many nats may feel differently…
i don’t know what the fuck you actites have got to be smug about..y’know, clinging to the tattered wreckage of a failed ideology and just building a name as whingers isn’t really a good look, eh..?
hence your ratshit poll ratings, eh?
better you concentrate on getting your act together..or soon you’ll be dust..

Nice rant Phil. Have you looked at the ACT policies at all? Just in the last week I have:
– Men’s policies – shared parenting, prostate cancer screening
– tax cuts in a number of press releases
– private/public partnerships in health
– reining in the welfare system – time limits on benefits etc
It is part of ACT’s campaign strategy to differentiate from National – so you shouldn’t be in any way surprised that ACT are pointing out areas where National moves to the middle – what you characterise as whinging I would characterise as electioneering. Pity you can’t tell the difference.
And what dream land you live in where you conclude that current polls indicate National have shot their bolt and given up on winning I really don’t know. The Peters issue affects your lot just as much as my lot – basically we need a 6% swing one way or the other to make dealing with Peters unnecessary for either party. It would be a big call to expect this – so at present I expect the election to actually be decided during coalition negotiations, not on election day.

paul..no i haven’t read their policies..my point is that act has the reputation as a party of whingers..clinging on to some version of rogernomics lite..perceptions and poll results paul..i suggest you go there..
“..And what dream land you live in where you conclude that current polls indicate National have shot their bolt and given up on winning I really don’t know..”
i didn’t say anything about polls about the past paul..i’m talking about reading the upcoming backlash to the paltry tax cuts brash will be able to offer..
and really tax policy is all that really differentiates labour and national, eh?..
that and the growing realisation amongst the punters that a vote for national means a vote for peters..(once again.shudder!..)
that’s what i mean when i say you will be looking back at this as the high point of the campaign..and an object lesson in not too over-egg policy, and not to shoot your bolt too soon..
get my drift..?

“phil u”? Sounds like a crude invite to a disappointing night in the sack. Sorry phil but if you are shitting your pants about Nationals reversal of fortune than crap alone buddy. We in ACT are secure enough to let our retarded big brother go it alone without having to wipe its arse every 5 minutes…You Greenies on the other hand are in a different boat heading to the bottom.Heres wishing you find a load of lead weights on the way… Heh heh!

james..i see you acknowledge that descending into name-calling is generally recognised as an acceptance that an argument has been lost..
“..We in ACT are secure enough to let our retarded big brother go it alone without having to wipe its arse every 5 minutes..”
and with that statment you pretty much prove my point, eh?..
and as for your over-use of scatological references james; have you seen someone about that?..to try and explain to you why you are so fixated on the anus..and faecal matter..?
sad..
so, that’d be game, set, and match..?
carry on..to electoral oblivion..:)
