The biggest tragedy of the Australian election

November 26th, 2007 at 6:57 pm by David Farrar

Despite the best efforts of Mild Colonial Boy, Hajnal Ban failed to get elected as a National Party candidate in Forde.

Ms Ban got 12.5% which wasn’t bad as the Nationals had never stood there before. The seat got picked up by Labor.

No, david, the bigger tragedy is Australia having this as deputy PM.

She’s quite a hard lefty, so I’m told.

I am interested to know why the loony left in NZ did not make an issue of Kruds religious beliefs, he sure as hell would not stand a chance of being the leader of the NZ Labour party.

Have we EVER had a shelia as good looking as Hajnal Ban in our parliament?, she alone would improve the ratings for Parliament TV.

Unfortunately not. Heather Roy is probably the best looking female MP at the moment. Of course, there ain’t much competition!

I never asked for it, as soon as I become PM Sheila’s will be the first to lose the right to vote (well second actually, the first to lose that right will be the unemployed)

And Bruv, the Labour Party has plenty of Christians – I even know a few. What else was Savage’s socialism but ‘applied Christianity’?

Nice link by the way David, I think Mild Colonial Boy’s blog just about defines the term ‘objectification of women’.

Oh, but you’re just having a laugh aren’t you? Ha ha, good times old chap. Bitch just needs a good seeing to, etc, etc, no need to get all PC about it.

Or, as bigbruv jokes(?), “as soon as I become PM Sheila’s will be the first to lose the right to vote”.

Yes Gillard definetly looks like the stooge put in by the unions as payback for the work during the election. Will be interesting to see how Rudd keeps them at bay. He might have a real fight on his hands. Australia could end up like Auckland City with the nice little christian boy getting sidelined by the devious hard lefty.

The third thing I will do when I become PM is introduce a bill into the house that bans socialists from electioneering, I will also ban all donations from unions unless each and every union member who contributed to the donation has a signed consent form witnessed by his or her great grandparent.

I had thought about introducing another bill that banned the right of opposition parties to attack the govt but it seems I am a bit late with that one.

Actually when you come to think about it, it may just be cheaper to shoot socialists on sight.

Actually Tane i would just call it socialism. “Social Justice” is not in the bible, although many christians do not mind welfare that can not be linked to their belief in god. The main message of Jesus (shortened) is: All humans are sinners, and sin must be punished. However luckly ive come here to die for all your sins. In order to repay me all you have to do is acknowledge me as your savior, and recognise that i am the son of godd who died for you. If you do this you will be let into heaven and enternal life. If you fail to do this, despite knowing that i died for you then you have condemned yourself to suffer for your sins.

Lee: The left are actually very generous (with other peoples money).

D4J seriously man you have some serious issues that you need to tend to.

I don’t know what you are meaning with the quote “Bitch just needs a good seeing to’ but that kind of stuff just doesn’t need to be said.

You seem to have issues with anyone who doesn’t share your view and no doubt I will be directed some of your venom. It’s not an entirely bad thing to get pissed off, everyone gets riled up from time to time.
    .
You however get nasty and vitriolic and hardly ever show any pragmatism in your posts. You thread-jack and then have amazing lapses of memory when calling others hypocrites.

Go for a run or something mate, get out from your computer desk and see the sun, maybe when you return you will see the world isn’t as dark as you seem to think.

Jeff, to be fair to old D4J he was quoting my ironic pisstake of Farrar’s misgynistic goons. But the rest of your comment applies regardless.

As for the rest of his crowd, I’d have thought my comments would have encouraged them pull their heads in and prove me wrong – instead they took it as a cue to go feral.

    Thanks for the clarification Tane.

I stand by the rest of what I said. I very rarely post a comment but i read most of them every day and D4J is just a bully and a trouble maker.

That’s the way D4J, in less than a sentence dismiss me as a wacko. I’m sure if I was to show side by side your comments and mine, I would be the victor in the sanity stakes.

You do however entertain me in a dark humorous sort of way.

It must be so easy for you to read every ones comments about you Tane and dismiss them as either sexist, racist, homophobic or feral. First of all homophobic is a grossly misused word. Not only does it have no scientific meaning (as the sufix ‘phobic’ implys) but it is the wrong word to describe how so called ‘homophobes’ feel about homosexuals. They object to them on religious ground mainly, as homosexuality is strictly forbidden in the bible. To imply fear is wrong.

Winston Churchill’s response to the suggestion that Socialism was “applied Christianity”, was to say that in Christianity, “all that is mine is yours”, but in Socialism, “all that is yours is mine”.

In reality, Socialism is inimical to applied christianity. No-one needs bother to look after their neighbour, or their brother, or even their own kids these days. Nanny State will do it, and whats more, the Socialists (at least, the ones running NZ today,) look forward to the day when Nanny State DOES IT ALL and Christianity itself is dead. This isn’t Christianity, this is hell on earth.
