From insanity to smugness

Greg Mankiw (Harvard Professor of Economics) blogs on Jane’s Law with the change of Government in the US:

The devotees of the party in power are smug and arrogant. The devotees of the party out of power are insane.

Heh – somewhat true. I guess this means I have gone from insane to smug!

    Whack-jobs (sorry, “Passionate political observers”) who feel Key’s election (or Obama’s election) validates all of their most extreme socio-economic theories might do well to take note…

    This is so right given what appears on these blogs sometimes. So what happens with the current situation with fanatics supporting J Key here but opposing Obama?
