    heh..!

is that ‘late smart’ another term for nocturnal s&m..?

    Oh dear,DPF!
Not only are you late, your stelling is affray.

While we don’t want to know the reasons,
I do hope they were good?

  4. malcolm (2,000) Says:

Forget about John Key and the tax and spend situation. Hon Dr Pita Sharples has been giving our problems some thought and he’s come up with a fantastic solution:

A new flag, a new anthem and a new name:

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/3313865/We-need-new-anthem-and-I-ll-write-it-says-Sharples

That ought to do the trick. Look out, Australia.

Irony of the day- The new federal global warming agency had to do their roll out press conference by phone because of the recent blizzard.

  7. Steve (2,197) Says:

Every now and again the page jumps, is that one of those “blipvert” things you can’t see?

  8. Say Goodbye to Hollywood (490) Says:

RIP Brian, RIP and the neighbourhood will be sane again…..well mostly.

  9. Jack5 (2,493) Says:

    Further to Malcolm at 11.43…

“Raving Rawhiri” Taonui, the Canterbury Uni Maori studies lecturer who immoderately earbashes pakeha NZers from his pulpit in the Christchurch Press, today praises John Key extravagantly.

Taonui describes Key as “no-baggage, no-nonsense, straight talking…”

You have to wonder whether this in parallel Sharples calling for the renaming of NZ as well as a new flag and a new anthem, aren’t just a diversion. A bit of circus to divert us plebs while Key avoids tax reforms that would divert money from the housing bubble and hits NZ families with higher GST.

  10. Pete George (12,437) Says:

I hope Sharples comes up with a good anthem. It needs to be done by someone who can use Maori and English well. One that means well, sounds good and is easy for just about anyone to sing.

Oklahoma firecracker takes on Obama eligibility
Candidate for Congress: ‘If he claims he was born at Kapi’olani, I want him to show proof’
    By Chelsea Schilling
    © 2010 WorldNetDaily

    Miki Booth

NASHVILLE – Just as a tea-party convention crowd gathered to discuss strategy for the movement, one woman stepped forward to the microphone – holding up two Hawaiian long-form birth certificates and a copy of President Obama’s purported short-form certification of live birth – and, referencing the short form, she told the crowd, “This piece of junk is what you get when you don’t have one of these!”

The crowd went wild, clapping and cheering.

When the forum was over, tea partiers scrambled around a table to see and photograph her original documents.

The woman, Miki Booth, originally from Hawaii, is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Oklahoma’s second district as an independent constitutional conservative. She had presented original long-form birth certificates belonging to her son and husband, dated 1981 and 1949.

“They are the ‘vault’ copies of the original ones filled out at the hospital and sent to the Hawaii State Department of Health Vital Statistics Office,” Booth told WND. “It is from this office that the newspapers get their stats for births, deaths and marriages to announce in the newspapers.”

Her husband, Fred, and son, Alan, were born at the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii – the same hospital declared as Obama’s birthplace in a purported letter from the president.

“If he is going to claim he was born in Kapi’olani like my husband and my son, then I want him to show proof,” Booth said, explaining that a certification of live birth only shows that a live baby was born – and not necessarily in Hawaii.

“What he’s given us perpetuates the mystery of what he’s covering up and gives us more reason to not trust him,” she said.

  12. Pete George (12,437) Says:

Tea party birthers, that will really help their credibility, won’t it. And this really helps Redbirther’s.

  13. MikeNZ (3,234) Says:

    Good on her Red
Until US citizens see the long form OB1 is a liar.

Obama has spent in excess of $1 million USD to stop release of his documentation so far.
If that isn’t a smoking gun I don’t know what is.
For someone who denigrated Bush’s administration for not being transparent as a democracy needs, he is one big hypocrite.

  14. MikeNZ (3,234) Says:

    With whom?
    You?

    You jest surely.

I would have thought that Bollard’s contradiction of Government aspirations (‘catching up with Australia etc. etc.) was not a career enhancing move. Perhaps he is past his use by date and is becoming cynical. Roger Douglas’s open letter is a worthwhile riposte. Economic success is as much determined by economic policy as it is the consequence of wealth dug out of the ground.

  17. cha (1,232) Says:

WRT the well known bloke who had his name suppressed, here’s a victims statement from a young lady who was abused by her uncle who then posted images of the abuse which were then collected by the likes of the sicko from palmy.

The images of her abuse are among the most popular and readily available child pornography on the internet.

Now she has a lawyer who wants her to be compensated by anyone convicted of possessing the images.

  22. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

“Economic success is as much determined by economic policy as it is the consequence of wealth dug out of the ground.”

That’s true of course. One only needs to look at Singapore for an example.

Once a nation is infected with the fatal venom of the socialism tho, (Australia and NZ) its a different story.

  25. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

There’s been very little comment on the government’s plans to guarantee zero-deposit mortgages for maori to build houses on ancestral land.

    [sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages]

I know it’s been a couple of years and National have been very busy figuring out how they can keep telling us they’re putting NZ on the path to prosperity, when they patently are not, however I vaguely recall some problem a few years ago with lending money to bad risks. Can’t for the life of me remember what it was.

    [sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages, sub-prime mortgages]

Oh, never mind. Anyway, isn’t John Key a great bloke?

  27. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” Redbirther, why do you care so much? ”

I know leftists are utter dumbfucks and ready to bend the law at any time to advance their poltical agenda, but are you really so fucking blackhole dense as not to know that the American Constitution demands that any Presidential candidate be of American birth? Its a loyalty issue, and in that regard, Obama with his scraping and bowing to America’s enemies, is failing the test big time.

  28. MikeNZ (3,234) Says:

    Nope

  30. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Cha, forget all the superfluous links that nobody cares enough to click on, and the desperate need to label anyone who asks questions of Obama’s past as a nutter. Just tell me why Obama refuses to display his birth certificate.

  31. Pete George (12,437) Says:

Just tell me why Obama refuses to display his birth certificate.

    Because he doesn’t need to.

And it’s clever politics to let the fringe keep on foaming at the mouth about nonsense.
And it’s a bonus when new political groups make fools of themselves going on about it.

Of all the things available to attack Obama with this is about the stupidest.

And are you really that blackhole dense to believe it would be possible to have an American President that wasn’t born in the US? Never mind that it has been proved over and over again that Obama was born in Hawai.

Do you really think it would be possible to fake the certificate and become president? I mean have you ever just stopped for a second and engaged your brain to think it through what it would take to actually do that?
    And then why bother?

And do you think a major US party would take the risk if there was even the slightest possibility it would be true? Do you really think that Hillary Clinton would not have exploited that fact if there was even a minuate possibility it were true?

I don’t think anyone who still believes the birthers has any qualification to called anyone “utter dumbfucks”.

Does anybody really think it is even possible to write a new National anthem?

In our present artistic incarnation it would likely end up being like the new Wellington court house in song form.

  35. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

rEDBIRTHER, i DON’T CARE ABOUT THE us CONSTITUTION, ITS FOR THE YANKS TO WORK OUT FOR THEMSELVES.

Besides, its probably about time to update it, given the revolution is so far in the past. But again, that’s for the yanks to decide, not you or me.

But you are entertaining, foaming and frothing whenever you’re not drooling over Palin and Orly.

A laugh if is a laugh, doesn’t matter who provides it.

  36. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Eszett please go away with your outdated one dimensional left wing talking points. I’m not interested in discussing the issue with knuckle dragging newbies whose only resources are web links that have been long ago ceased to have any relevance and the yawn inducing diversions of the Obama propaganda machine laughingly called the mainstream media.

  37. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” A laugh if is a laugh, doesn’t matter who provides it. ”

LRO, you’re not funny. You’re just a wet contemptible drooling idiot. Go somewhere else with your feeble and witless attempts to entertain. And try not to be so worked up that you forget your caps key is on. It just makes you look like an even bigger pants wetting fool.

  38. NeutralObserver (46) Says:

    an ‘Other general issue’

I need help – linguistic help. A Parliamentarian says we are all ‘white motherfxxxers’ and gets a 2 month paid holiday. A Dr tells a morbidly obese patient she has to go on a ‘F*cking diet’ – he is reprimanded told to under go counselling and the Maori Party slam him.

Sooo. I can say ‘white motherf*** ‘ no problem, but not ‘go on a f** diet’ to an obese Maori woman. Correct ?

Of course you have no interest in a discussion, why would you? You would have to have an open mind and arguments and facts to have a rational discussion.

But you do contribute to the amusement factor on this blog.

  41. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Of course you have no interest in a discussion,

The standard leftist’s biggest problem (apart from their stunted intelligence quotient) is their related inability to comprehend. I am interested in discussion, just not with “knuckle dragging newbies” like you. I prefer my protagonists to have some faint idea of reality and the ability to communicate points of view outside the confines of the lame propaganda of the left wing mainstream media. That clearly excludes you and your inane drivel. I haven’t read a post from you on this blog that doesn’t resemble the uninformed ramblings of a spotty faced confused and distressed pubescent schoolboy.

  42. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

And of course the birthers, teabaggers and Palinistas are the epitome of people with only a “faint idea of reality”. Very faint.

  43. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

You can say anything you like in a private email to another person. In a professional environment when you are performing professional services you should, I dont know, maybe act like a professional.

  47. MikeNZ (3,234) Says:

    shit you lot are dense.
    Hello?

  49. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Poor old Pete. Always the leftist robot. When empty of the baseless assertions and uninformed rubbish he posts here in lieu of information, he turns to mentally enfeebled attempts to mock. How tired and old you are Mr. George with your outdated mental state and your obsessive need to try and protect your stale old left wing doctrine that is more discredited as every day passes.

  50. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

Dime, fuck off with your lame left wing drivel. If you can’t do anything but drool propaganda like a fucking desperate socialist moron what the fuck are you doing here? Go and work for the Standard. Dullards who suck up irrational clapped out mainstream propaganda like a dry sponge are most welcome there.

  60. Chris2 (466) Says:

Interesting double-standard. It is reported today a 44 year-old obese maori woman was told by her gastric by-pass surgeon that she was “going on a fucking diet”, after she complained she disliked the word “diet” and preferred to talk about “lifestyle”. Her complaint was upheld by the Health & Disability Commissioner.

Tariana Turia on the front page of today’s NZ Herald is quoted as saying the surgeon’s behaviour was “scandalous” and “I just can’t believe this person, who is extremely powerful. He abused his specialist role”.

Does anyone recall Turia making a similarly strongly-worded statement after Hone Harawira’s “white motherfuckers” comment? I think it would be fair to say the MP “abused his specialist role” when he made those comments.

Perhaps for Turia, foul language is only “scandalous” when it’s spoken by white people? But not when it’s said by her maori colleague. What a hyprocrite Turia is.

[DPF: Umm Tariana was pretty staunch in denouncing the language used by Hone. In fact it was the catalyst for them trying to expel him from the Maori Party Caucus. I'd say it was a stronger response than from the Health & Disability Commissioner]

  61. dime (3,957) Says:

HAHA I’m a left winger now?

I actually took my point of view from the very left wing Fox news!

The O’reilly factor last night actually. Him and the Marxist, Newt Gingridge, agree with me.

  62. Say Goodbye to Hollywood (490) Says:

If you’re using RIP and finding it is not blocking e.g philu. Then you need to make an adjustment in RIP. Just go to the RIP options under Tools (Firefox) and change the URL from http://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2009/* to http://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2010/*. You should find it working again.

  63. KiwiGreg (2,276) Says:

“Does anyone recall Turia making a similarly strongly-worded statement after Hone Harawira’s “white motherfuckers” comment? I think it would be fair to say the MP “abused his specialist role” when he made those comments.”

As I stated above I think there is a big difference between what Hone said in a private email and what the surgeon said to a patient in a professional capacity.

  64. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

Greg, I almost agreed with you, but then I wondered if a professional parliamentarian has such a thing as a private email. It is probably no more private than the apparent consultation between the gastroenterologist and the fat fuck.

  65. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” The O’reilly factor last night actually. Him and the Marxist, Newt Gingridge, agree with me. ”

Oh yeah, that’s Newt that’s such a good buddy of Nancy Pelosi and Al Gore, and Mr. Middle of the Road O’Reilly. You keep good company, but those clapped out crustaceans that are nowadays nothing more than crumbling monuments to the corrupt and broken era of the Progressives are still more than a little above your station. Have you tried a relationship with Catherine Delahunty? She’s always in need of a soulmate.

  66. labrator (965) Says:

Bang on dime! I’d rather philu over redbaiter.

  67. Pete George (12,437) Says:

Seriously Red, what demographic do you think your ideals would appeal to?

What % of the vote do you think it would be now?
What % of the vote do you think it will be in five years?

  68. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Well, seeing as you can’t even spell the handle of the dog you named yourself after, that’s no surprise. Like likes like.

  69. dime (3,957) Says:

Redbaiter – is there someone there that looks after you? like a caregiver? you’re fuckin nuts dude. i guess its a good thing your obsession is with politics and not offing hookers.

  70. Pete George (12,437) Says:

And you think the spelling of your “name” would entice anyone to take you seriously?

  71. KiwiGreg (2,276) Says:

@ LRO its not the privacy issue its the professionalism/power whatever issue. I have no personal issue with using the word “fuck” but I am certainly sensitive to using it AT people lower down the food chain then me, as opposed to colleagues.

I am pretty sure she riled him up (with her “dont talk to me about diets” crap) but that isnt the point – if he cant deal with fat patients (or any patients) in a professional manner he should look for a different job (i.e. one in the private sector where he can have the luxury of choosing who to serve).

  72. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” Seriously Red, what demographic do you think your ideals would appeal to?”

Sorry Mr. George, I don’t submit to the haughty interrogations of derelict cave dwelling numbskulls. The tea party is the most popular political movement in the US at the moment, and Sarah palin is the preferred Presidential Candidate in a poll of Republican voters. As usual, (and like all leftists) you’ve got your head so far up your arse all you can do is ask dumbfuck questions that have not one iota of premise in reality.

  73. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” i guess its a good thing your obsession is with politics and not offing hookers. ”

That’s rich coming from a mentally disturbed loon whose probably got a fridge full of severed heads.

“” i guess its a good thing your obsession is with politics and not offing hookers. ”

That’s rich coming from a mentally disturbed loon whose probably got a fridge full of severed heads.”

You are both cracking me up.

  75. Pete George (12,437) Says:

UM, Red, I thought if your head was anywhere near reality you would know that if you want to progress your cause beyond a smallering minority then you don’t abuse anyone that ever disagrees with anything you say and reduce your potential fan club.

There is no tea party in NZ.
Palin probably doesn’t know where NZ is.

It’s your choice if you want to stick around the bum end of a bull, and remain an entertaining curiosity.

  76. dime (3,957) Says:

maybe you should go and have a good cry. let it all out.

It is revealing that you call all dissenting opinions “left wing propaganda”, yet you only, invariably post right propaganda very little substance (if any).

  79. Pete George (12,437) Says:

  80. Johnboy (6,716) Says:

Now you are on to something there Pete. Instead of a seperate religious debate we could have a general berate and let the xtians use the normal general debate. Brilliant stuff I suggest you propose it to DPF. :) :)

But I don’t think anyone’s mind every changes in a religious exchange and the same things are done over and over so maybe that should be General Restate.

Red could have his own topic, General Dictate.

  82. Johnboy (6,716) Says:

    :)

  83. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

    :-) ;-)

Just tossing out the rubbish, found a note from Obama’s dad – remember to register birth in hawaii or son never become El Pesidente. That witch doctor, she good medecine, my bhoy will grow up to defeat the wicked imperialist running dogs and will make Amerikka safe for niggas, hos and pimps.

Just got to make sure he study hard, get elected to Senate and then has run for POTUS before teabaggers founded.

  84. big bruv (9,860) Says:

“and Mr. Middle of the Road O’Reilly. ”

Ha ha, so O’Reilly is middle of the road is he.

Who do you suggest they Yanks support then Redbaiter?

Some bible bashing god botherer who wants to ban all talk of the evolution “theory” and bring back school prayer?, somebody who thinks that abstinence is the only form of contraception?.

Somebody who wants to make every American live by the rules as set out in the ‘good book’ ?

Have you not worked out that these type of people are unelectable?

  85. Hurf Durf (2,855) Says:

What’s wrong, brainsrightout? Pubic Address and The Stranded got boring? Tell me about it, 24 hours of social justice spiel and whining about FAUX NOISE would just be awful.

Pretty sure Glenn Beck thinks the birthers are loons too.

  87. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

big bruv, thank god you’re here. After yesterday I thought dad4justice might have done for you.

  88. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Oh Big Bruv is here again backing up his fellow Progressives. Its that politically confused fuckwits like you exist that we have John Key in power. Even tho you constantly bemoan that fact, you’re too damn black hole thick to see that you’re the real reason for the situation. Especially with your “well ordinarily I wouldn’t like this but on ths occasion it seems like a good idea equivocating crap.” Just a brain dead babbling enabler.

” remember to register birth in hawaii or son never become El Pesidente. ”

See what I mean about leftists being as thick as brick shit houses and never comprehending what they read? The advertisements are inserted automatically by means of the certificates being issued. As the lady said in my initial post. That the birth was recognised in the newspaper is meaningless, (apart from the fact that no Obama’s have ever lived at the address referred to). Go away you slack jawed cross eyed bow legged waste of time.

  89. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

“big bruv, thank god you’re here. After yesterday I thought dad4justice might have done for you.”

Oh gawd yet another Brett Dugan lap poodle!!

” That coming from an angry, bitter and twisted old man, ”

Of course, someone who is so ineffective he’s got every commie Chihuahua on Kiwiblog yapping their fucking heads off and tugging at their chains trying to bite him.

  93. labrator (965) Says:

Well, seeing as you can’t even spell the handle of the dog you named yourself after, that’s no surprise. Like likes like.

Never one to assume are we redbaiter? Must be time to call me an expletive laden lefty something, that’s your typical fallback to dissent. Even philu got closer to working out what my username means than you.

  94. big bruv (9,860) Says:

    Red

You are fucking hilarious, you bang on about the evils of the left (on which we agree) yet you demand that the rest of us overlook the evils of the FAR right because they are not progressives/socialists/pinko’s.

You can be a hypocrite if you like but that is not for me, I am never going to get behind a bible belt candidate, if the GOP happen to select a man who is a Christian then that is fine, but if he is a bible bashing god botherer who will cave into the stupid demands of the far religious right then thanks, but no thanks.

Have you not worked out that your mythical ideal candidate would see the Democrats in power for ever?

  95. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” Red could have his own topic, General Dictate.

Should be a winner. All over the globe, from Castro to Ghaddafi, its what you commies see as the preferred option.

  96. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

Redbirther, stop making my sides hurt. Since “Won the Wowwier” on his soapbox in my youth, I had never seen anything so funny until you came along. Best bit about Won was he usually ended his lectures with an epileptic fit! Reckon you’ll be able to match that?

  97. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

Oh look Brett has unleashed the progressive poodles. I wish the ankle biters would get sent to the pound.

  98. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

“Have you not worked out that your mythical ideal candidate would see the Democrats in power for ever?”

Sorry, I thought that was his goal

  99. Pete George (12,437) Says:

Has anyone been able to work out what his name means?

  100. philu (10,919) Says:

    did i..?

    i forgot..!

    must be the pot..!

  101. labrator (965) Says:

And that’s why I prefer philu over redbaiter. One of them has a sense of humour.

  102. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

Do you share the same bong as phool labrat?

  103. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

@dad4justice, have you ever contributed to discussion, or do you just come here to fling poo?

I bet your parents asked you to run away from home.

  104. big bruv (9,860) Says:

    Labrator

Is that not balanced out by Phool being a parasite?

BTW Phool, where have you been for the last few weeks?

The place was much better without you, why not piss off back there.

  105. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

Get a life leftrightout. Poor chap aways feels out of it.

Brett – you are always telling people to piss off. Is this YOUR blog?

  106. Hurf Durf (2,855) Says:

RIP Charlie Wilson, arguably one of the most badass men to have lived.

On a related note, Sky News referred to Wilson as a Republican three times in three seperate bulletins over a three hour period. Do they think that it’s only Repubs who would ever be tough on Communism? And wouldn’t it be prudent for them to check even Wikipedia when they eulogise someone?

  107. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

Guess you just answered my question — any similarity between you and a human is pure coincidence.

  108. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

Go away Bruv you fucking demented Pomeranian. Being a “bible basher” does not make anyone far right. There’s as many of them on the left. In fact even the Secular Progressive Helen Klark couldn’t have won three elections without the backing of the Anglican church. Take a hike until you educate yourself. Fucking embarrassment.

  109. big bruv (9,860) Says:

Thanks for that Red, now, would you care to answer the question?

“Have you not worked out that your mythical ideal candidate would see the Democrats in power for ever?”

  110. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

You are so thck Brett. Are all ACT supporters that dumb?

  111. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

” Have you not worked out that your mythical ideal candidate would see the Democrats in power for ever?”

What the fuck have you got now you thick as a brick waffler? Bush didn’t suffer the same character defects as Obama, but politically he was just another Democrat. Like John key. Just look at what you have acheived with your inability to select targets accurately. Sweet Fuck All except leftists in power everywhere you fucking look.

  112. Pete George (12,437) Says:

Just look at what you have acheived….

Maybe we could all do with pondering that. Couldn’t we Red?

  113. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

What’s to ponder? The tea parties have got the political establishment (that is really in its entirety just a corrupt and crooked tool of the left) shitting their pants in the US. Its only a matter of time before the same happens here.

  114. RRM (4,146) Says:

Ain’t no party like my Nana’s tea party.

  115. big bruv (9,860) Says:

    Red

Do you want me to use capitals?

“HAVE YOU NOT WORKED OUT THAT YOUR MYTHICAL IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD SEE THE DEMOCRATS IN POWER FOR EVER?

Has it not sunk in that many on the right might be socially centrist but economically right wing?, the more you tell these people to piss off the more you push them into the waiting arms of the left?

And why you are at it, tell me why I should ignore the bigotry of the religious right, tell me why I should abandon my freedoms and values and vote for these people when you of all people are quick to highlight the very worst of the left and use that as a reason not to vote for them.

  116. big bruv (9,860) Says:

“What’s to ponder? The tea parties have got the political establishment (that is really in its entirety just a corrupt and crooked tool of the left) shitting their pants in the US. Its only a matter of time before the same happens here.”

  119. labrator (965) Says:

    Hey-ho, RRM is a rhymenocerous.

  120. RRM (4,146) Says:

    My lyrics are bottomless.

    Kinda like redbaiter’s histrionics.

  123. RRM (4,146) Says:

I’m glad you’re posting again masturbaiter. I’ve missed the laughs.

  124. labrator (965) Says:

    Another yapping little canine.

It’s supposed to rhyme redbaiter, like this:

    I don’t like Obama,
Cos I don’t think his mama,
    Was straight with the way,
    He got to the USA.

    I’ll let you use that.

  125. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

  129. labrator (965) Says:

Anything you like Johnboy. Depends on what you think about what I have to say. There’s a few choice examples earlier on.

  130. Johnboy (6,716) Says:

Ah give us a clue I love a good mystery and I hate to think that phil is smarter than me after all I never got sacked from Maccas and KFC like he did.

  138. labrator (965) Says:

Don’t worry Johnboy, philu didn’t get it either but it’s certainly not a misspelling of a dogs name. That means he was closer than redbaiter by virtue of not being wrong.

  139. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

I have spies everywhere Angus. You should know the Bat Cave is always working.

Yeah, and any engagement with you is of course an overpowering intellectual experience. Get back to your Friedrich Nietzsche Otto.

  145. LeftRightOut (622) Says:

dad4justice, shouldn’t that be the moonbat cave?

Despite the disapproval of government, few Americans say they know much about the “tea party” movement, which emerged last year and attracted voters angry at a government they thought was spending recklessly and overstepping its constitutional powers. And the new poll shows that the political standing of Sarah Palin has deteriorated significantly.

Palin’s potential as a presidential hopeful takes a severe hit in the survey. Fifty-five percent of Americans have unfavorable views of her, while the percentage holding favorable views has dipped to 37, a new low in Post-ABC polling.

There is a growing sense that the former Alaska governor is not qualified to serve as president, with more than seven in 10 Americans now saying she is unqualified, up from 60 percent in a November survey. Even among Republicans, a majority now say Palin lacks the qualifications necessary for the White House.

Palin has lost ground among conservative Republicans, who would be crucial to her hopes if she seeks the party’s presidential nomination in 2012. Forty-five percent of conservatives now consider her as qualified for the presidency, down sharply from 66 percent who said so last fall.
