No its not a smear. A smear, in the sense I use the word, is based on a deliberate untruth and is a conscienceless attempt to discredit one’s political opponents when one is unable to argue a rational case for their POV. One has to be a coward to use such tactics, as those who do it, know full well that once false allegations are uttered, it is difficult, and takes some time and effort to rebut them. The cowardly smearer makes the allegation in full knowledge that in most cases, their smears will be left to stand because of the victims inability to fully respond.

The above phrase I have directed at you is not dishonest. It is a sincerely held opinion. I have observed your behaviour on this blog, and during the time you have been posting here, I have noted your political position and the tactics you use. The post above wherein you falsely accuse me of “filth and obscenities” is just one example. You know it is untrue, and anyone with a brain can see the different context of “commie coward” as opposed to your phrase, and see that it is more accurate and solid, and you have given it those attributes by means of your own conscienceless actions.

Actions have equal and opposite reactions Mr. Hansen. Like most leftists, you cannot seem to grasp this simple truism, exampled in more colloquial language as “if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it most likely is a duck”.

Let me try and warn you of something. Like most leftists, you live in a bubble. You isolate yourself from reality by treating anyone who does not share your beliefs as a non person. You consider anybody who does not engage you on a Progressive level, and as another Progressive, as illegitimate. Any contrary information that slips under your door is discarded.

So you do not ever know or come into touch with any reality outside your bubble, except unwillingly. In the world outside your bubble Mr. Hansen, there is growing resentment at the despicable behaviour of the left, and you need to think about that and where it might lead. You have been getting away with it for decades now, but all things change Mr. Hansen, and things are no longer the same.

Things are not any longer what you in your bubble think they are. They are changing fast. Very fast. The social immunity you have relied on for so long, and that has shielded you from criticism of your amorality, is no longer so dependable. That goes for all who use your tactics. Not just you.

Oh, come on – you’re not even trying now! Look at your very next post, where you get all infantile about the words “flacid” and “abbreviated” (hur hur hur … sounds like sex!) and imply your opponent is sexually impotent.

I completely rebut the claim that what you have posited as your best example of a cowardly smear meets the logic criteria. It is not an example and I can quite easily argue that POV.

You see I have been thru all of this before, when I’ve asked for just one example, the *best* example, of where George Bush lied on the Iraq war. I specify the best example of the basis that once the *best* example is discredited, none of the other examples are therefore worth arguing about.

Same as you PG. What you would like to do is post a huge list of allegations here, knowing full well that it is impossible in time and resources terms, to answer them all. This is the kind of deceit that characterises the left. You employ that trickery and deceit because you know if you were backed into a corner, and had to prove your one *best” assertion, you would fail. You just cannot honestly argue your position.

PG- Its you who needs to come up with an argument. You posited a particular post as “the best example of a cowardly smear” from Rebaiter but have offered nothing after that sweeping allegation. Where in particular is the smear??

Or if you are claiming the whole post as a cowardly smear, you need to make a case. Otherwise, how is it possible for me to counter argue?? Man you commies are *always* so thick. Like gangling simian bipeds with a ring thru your nose, you need to be led by a bloody chain everywhere.
