Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a NOT controversial mining practice in which gas and oil are obtained by drilling into open rock deep in the Earth and then forcing large amounts of water, sand and a cocktail of chemicals at high pressure down into the shale.
99% of what used is water and sand – miles below the water table, if it wasn’t then gas would be already coming out of your water supply, i.e. you can run water from your tap and set it on fire.
Fracking is an old technology which has been used since the 1900 hundred, it just become more economic to do this more frequently due to lefties and greenies stopping other easier foms of oil production.
For evey leftie and greenie that wants to stop oil production there name should go on a list and banned from any product or service that use oil in the production or transport to market. I suspect in a couple of months they will be dead and the world will be a happier and richer place to live.
