Trevor’s credibility for sale on Trade Me

February 16th, 2012 at 12:22 pm by David Farrar

Heh, someone has set up an auction of Trevor Mallard’s credibility. The proceeds will go to Christchurch Earthquake recovery.

The Q+A, as always, is amusing:

Q: Is there any actual evidence you can provide to show that this item has ever existed

Q; Doesn’t Trademe rules state that the item must be in your possession? I don’t think anyone anywhere has ’s credibility in their possession. In fact, research is ongoing to find proof it ever existed, as far as I am informed.

Q: While at face value this looks like a bargain, do you have any way of verifying that the product actually exists? I am somewhat dubious, as I have not seen any recent evidence of the existence of “Trevor Mallard’s credibility.”

Q: How damaged is this item? Will there be a refund available if it doesn’t pass muster?

Q: Is there a buy now? or will you let the auction take it’s course?

Heh, now that last one is very funny.

Q: Can you give an assurance Trevor’s credibility is not an asset? I understand Trevor opposes asset sales.

I don’t wish to labour the point, but isn’t this part of the Lame Duck set you auctioned last week? Do you allow pickups at Darren Hughes’ flat.

Shame that. I was about to ask “if I win this auction, are you prepared to use some of the proceeds to buy him some?”

Sad, just when I was going to ask them to throw in the High Court’s credibility as well. It would have saved on shipping costs.

So why now is it withdrawn?
    • The said credibility is thought not to exist
    • There were no bids
    • Trevor feared damage to said credibility
    • Said credibility had no on-saleability – couldn’t be scalped

According to Mallard ridiculed over scalping accusations

Trade Me allows the on-selling of event tickets after a poll showed 81 per cent of its traders in support.

Cool way of seeing what’s legal. I wonder if megadownload did a poll to see if they were legal.

Stuff could use polls to see if breaching suppression orders is legal or not. And using secret recordings. And paying bribes for stories.

Not only can we have government by poll, we can also have justice by poll.

This is set up and national is loving it …

What a brilliant set up, I can only wonder how they did it. Perhaps an agent of National gave him the tickets, and then someone else arranged some event that he (and the other 3 intended ticket users) absolutely had to attend.

And in a beautiful illustration of the self-referencing circularity of the internet, the TradeMe auctions are now news themselves:

    RRM,

Truly self-referencing circularity would be completed if the “listing withdrawn by administrator” were to be proven to be as a result of a complaint from Trevor Mallard, and that then also made the news.

If we have any form of good governance in this land Mallard would resign. But NO What we have is a slime ball muck heap called the Parliament filled with 120 odd slime ball operatives with similary slime balls trying to defend Mallard.

Mallard would be the first to scream blue murder if he was ripped off. His 2 faced arse hole type always are

They dish it out by cant take it. He is a pond life creature and so are those who try and stick up for him.

Mallard tries of backtrack in his own inimitable manner…

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/6426246/Mallard-offers-ticket-cash-back

Mallard said he had left a message with Whitireia music student Laura Signal offering to refund the money but had not heard back.

He said he would be happy to give the tickets away to some deserving students if Signal took him up on the offer.

So he will now refund the money and instead give the tickets away to another group as the students he sought to profit from are clearly not worthy.

When will Shearer take his spade off him?

Surely he should be giving the students back the profit and letting them keep the tickets?

I wonder who the profits are going to – the Labour Party or Trevor’s back pocket?

Apparently Trevor has done this a few times before – I wonder if he is declaring the profits to IRD since he seems to be in the business of scalping???

Yes it is all good fun taking the piss out of one of the last remnants of Huluns government..

I am finding it very difficult to find a direct e-mail contact to Trevor Mallard..

We are paying his communication bills..

Can any one tell me his direct contact e-mail address..

Is he DUCKING for cover.. or has he gone DOWN for cover.. ??

He must be QUACKERS if he thinks that this sort of two faced action would not be noted..

Seriously.. I wish to tell him what I think..

I wonder if he’ll try scalping his tickets to the annual Labour Party conference? Can’t imagine they would be keen on a filthy capitalist “rich prick” extorter of the proletariat like him showing his face.

To his credit he’s been able to cop what he deserves,
despite no doubt spewing his guts out for the biggest

Nice one trev, shame about the gumboots having

    Nostalgia-NZ,

You think he’s copped what he deserves?

According to Trev, the students who paid premium $ for his tickets are not deserving of them, but another group would be (for free.)

There is no ‘give up’. At a stretch maybe a ‘cough up’ [in him giving up his profit.] Absolutely a ‘screw up’ [without question.]

It isn’t ‘cow’ crap on his gumboots…

    Fair conditions.

Except if the smile continues beyond 2 minutes. That might indicate that the treatment has shifted from ‘offending regions’ to ‘enema’. And his recent actions and surname indicate that he is tight enough that that might constitute pleasure…
