Punakaiki Beach at Sunset, West Coast, South Island. Beautiful New Zealand landscape pictures by Todd Sisson.

Punakaiki Beach at Sunset, West Coast, South Island. New Zealand landscape .

This week’s wallpaper was made during the middle of ‘winter’ over on the West Coast – it was barely worth wearing a jersey.  This balminess was quickly remedied with an 8 hour drive back to Central Otago ;-)

There’s a little story about the making of this shot on the blog, including details of my questionable child-minding skills…

See you next week!

Cheers – Todd

This would make the most beautiful oil painting – the translucent white of the sea mid-picture is so unusual in a photograph. Very inspiring – if I were an artist this is certainly something I would like to produce. Stunning sea/sky linking visual.

You could spend a lifetime photographing the moods of the Coast Road, it’s one of the most amazing stretches of coastline in the world. Nice capture, I got some amazing sunset pics closer to Greymouth last night, the West Coast is a photography paradise.

    Hey thanks folks!

Yes, I agree – the West Coast is simply world class as far as scenery!
