Pebbles on who she isn’t

June 17th, 2014 at 10:00 am by David Farrar

in 12 questions says:

I could be a feminist, hippie, left-wing, John-Key-hating, never-washing person that lives off the Government and as much as that would make my Dad unhappy, he wouldn’t care as long as I was good to people and trustworthy.

I didn’t know Pebbles had been to a Green Party conference :-)

She also says:

With the synthetic marijuana stories and the guy who was hooked on it and wanted the Government to help him … I don’t want to pay my taxes because you made a really stupid choice.

Indeed.

    Like she fucken means it:

People makes stupid choices with regards to sexual partners – and then the tax payer pays for their sexual healthcare for diseases ect..

Some people make the wrong choices about the things they insert into themselves – and the tax payer pays for that too.

Drinkers and smokers pay for themselves.

Sexual healthcare should be like dentistry – pay as you go.

But this young thing from Wellington won’t ever say that!

But don’t forget, this is New Zealand, a very small country, and that because of that mummy and daddy are both ‘important’. Therefore she has been taught that absolutely ANYTHING she says is ‘important’ as well; especially if some media-type person asks the questions. The joys of a small pond are very evident.

Fifteen minutes of fawning adulation anyone?

I wonder how much she was paid…

Stupid comment. It is impossible to live off the government as the government has no money of its own. She could only live off other people which would then infer she is not being “good” to them.

She didn’t choose her name or parents. The paper chose to interview her. She seems to have above average common sense for someone her age. The sort of comments on this post are why young people end up supporting the Greens.

Dave: Get used to downticks here mate…I get them for observing that it is a beautiful clear winters day out here, and the fantails are playing among the flaxes…But then of course I am a disgraced politician who stole the identify of a DEAD BABY 30 years ago…

Nigel K: Yes…I have observed that for someone of her tender years young Pebbles seems to make a lot of sense in her 150 word snippets in the Saturday Herald magazine…

I especially like the bit where she wants to judge (at age 24) drug users for “their poor choices”… and then goes on to mention how she’s broke and it’s 3 more weeks until payday… and she wishes she didn’t have to beg Mummy & Daddy for more money all the time. Spoilt rich kids are such fun.

Thank you very very much DPF for posting this FASCINATING insight.

    COMMON PEOPLE – pulp

She came from Greece she had a thirst for knowledge
She studied sculpture at Saint Martin’s College, that’s where I caught her eye.
She told me that her Dad was loaded
I said in that case I’ll have a coca cola.
She said fine and in thirty seconds time she said, I want to live like common people
I want to do whatever common people do, I want to sleep with common people
I want to sleep with common people like you.
Well what else could I do – I said I’ll see what I can do.

I took her to a supermarket
I don’t know why but I had to start it somewhere, so it started there.
I said pretend you’ve got no money, she just laughed and said oh you’re so funny.
I said yeah? Well I can’t see anyone else smiling in here.
Are you sure you want to live like common people
You want to see whatever common people see
You want to sleep with common people,
you want to sleep with common people like me.
But she didn’t understand, she just smiled and held my hand.

Rent a flat above a shop, cut your hair and get a job.
Smoke some fags and play some pool, pretend you never went to school.
But still you’ll never get it right
‘cos when you’re laid in bed at night watching roaches climb the wall
If you call your Dad he could stop it all.
You’ll never live like common people
You’ll never do what common people do
You’ll never fail like common people
You’ll never watch your life slide out of view, and dance and drink and screw
Because there’s nothing else to do.

Sing along with the common people, sing along and it might just get you thru’
Laugh along with the common people
Laugh along even though they’re laughing at you and the stupid things that you do.
Because you think that poor is cool.
I want to live with common people, I want to live with common people [etc..]

good to see a young person not blinded by the bullshit of the greens and the left. its all too easy at that age to think of the soft and fluffy (but its nice to help people), and not see the hard reality.

though as a financial adviser, she needs some decent advice and a plan to help her to get her shit together so she has money left over.

    Greenpeace

Add Greenpeace International to the ranks of losers in the $5.3 trillion-a-day global foreign exchange market.

The Amsterdam-based nonprofit organization said it lost 3.8 million euros (NZ$5.9 million) last year after an employee bet that the euro wouldn’t strengthen against other currencies, Greenpeace said on its website. Greenpeace, which runs environmental campaigns in more than 40 countries, didn’t name the employee, who worked in its international finance unit and has been relieved of his position.

And “Why would you want to do that? I’m still wet behind the ears and the fact my parents design some quite popular glad rags certainly doesn’t bestow any particular omniscience upon me” wasn’t available as a response?

And if the legal highs addict she’s referring to is the one I’m thinking of, the help he was seeking was primarily having the toxic crap made illegal. His family were standing by him and seemed to be willing to provide the rehab. Though on the very sound basis that people should have to pay for the harm they cause others, the bill should be sent to Messrs Dunne & Son, Pushers to the Plebs since 2013.

She doesn’t want her taxes to go to helping drug addicts because of their ‘really stupid choice’, but she seems ok with our taxes helping her with her multiple hospital trips caused by her choice to not take her medication. A truly vacuous individual indeed.
