Love on the left

Wouldn’t a Government of them all having to work together be such great fun. You could sell tickets – from your new homes in Australia!

There are a very few Braincells deep in my subconscious that would enjoy watching the Hydra unravel then reality overcomes and I revert to understanding what such a misfortune could wreak in a very short time.

    @ gravedodger,

The hydra image came to my mind as well.

Can you imagine an election poster featuring a monstrous beast with the heads of Cunliffe, Parker, Norman, Turei, Peters, Harre, Harawira and Dotcom?

It wouldn’t be allowed, though. It would unsuitable, even for mature audiences.

Labour has entered an irony-free zone where Cunliffe is apologising for being a member of a group that abuses women. While Mallard is using the internet to bully a lovely old grandmother.

Oh, and… When Mallard was first elected to parliament, computers meant green screen mainframes and there were still a few punch card machines around. It is great to see that he has kept up with technology changes and uses Twitter himself, even tho he is an old man now. Much better than Harre’s “only young people understand these new fangled i-thingies, I rely on my husband to operate our home computer” thing that she has going on.

That was quite refreshing, it’s not normal for lefty female politicians in NZ to have husbands.

Well well well, maybe it’s only a matter of time before a certain German gentleman organises a “night of the long knifes” and rounds up the insolent red shirts :)

God, the irony of a bunch of otherwise irrelevant old socialists working for a criminal who shafts his staff, likes dressing up in SS uniform and has a signed copy of Mein Kampf.

Uh, David, have you taken a good long look at your own satellites lately? ACT and United Future hate the Conservative Party’s guts, and I don’t think Colin Craigs’ lackeys radical anti-Treaty stance is going to endear them to the Maori Party either. The Conservatives keep attacking Key, ACT and United Future in retaliation. And then there’s Winston. If you wake up on September 20 and find out that Key is trying to cobble together a misbegotten coalition within Winston and the Con Party, the shoe may be on the right’s foot, not that of the left.
