Bloody Mary to air 9 pm Wednesday

TV3 has very sensible decided to cut the controversy short and will now be showing the Bloody Mary episode of Southpark on C4 at 9 pm on Wednesday instead of in April.

Thanks to the protests it will of course have record viewers.

Incidentially I agree with Trevor Loudon that groups not wanting the episode on air have behaved entirely correctly and have every right to lobby on the issue. Just as I have every right to lobby TV3 the other way and say I’d never watch them again if they backed down.

It’s a pity that the punch line from the Pope is so well known now because it was very funny watching it when he first said it.
