I think you’ll find you can not wed your cat by civil union either.

If homosexuals marry OK – they want ‘equality’.
What will be harder will be to marry in a church?
But then some churches have accepted homosexual clergy.
Have they not already considered that the gay marriage question follows having accepted such clergy?
So it’s a done deal for some.

But consider another abnormality – Roman Catholic priests may not marry.

If there was ever an issue that demonstrates our elites have lost their collective minds it is gay marriage.

Ask anyone anytime in history what marriage is for and they would tell you it is about building a family by raising children and even today apart from the declining Northwest countries of Europe and the brokest states in the USA most people would tell you the same.

Can anyone tell me why Gay Marriage is needed without some vague reference to “equality” which means nothing because so called gay couples are not equal to heterosexual ones, not because of prejudice but because of biology

I tried seitan for the first time today (made by my hand). It was OK. The texture was a bit too rubbery for my taste; I doubt it would fool many people into thinking it was real meat. But it tasted OK, and has potential as a cheap alternative.

Re Backbenchers..I thought Nikki Kay held her own in a girls school , prefect kind of way. The audience had very little time for anything she had to say. Winston , David Shearer and even Kay looked happy and relaxed. Norman looked like he was going to his granny’s funeral. Not exactly a made for television kind of guy.
This programe will be on again at the weekend.

As I have paddocks full of the real McCoy I have serious doubts that I’ll be forced into eating protein created in a test tube. The price of the new “delicacy” gives me hope for the future of farming…at least in the short/medium term. Scott Chris’ reference quotes the present price as “about US$1 million for a piece of beef weighing 250 grams “.

At that rate tonight’s dinner would cost about $4,000,000.00!

About five weeks ago I was loading out the last of the lambs when one of the bastards turned at the top of the ramp. I still can’t figure out how but I had my eye off the ball & paid the price. He decided that he was heading back to the paddock & the most direct route was over the top of his mates & through me.

The bugger weighed about 53kg & he caught me in the chest. I went down like I’d been hit by a fence strainer & it’s taken quite a while to settle down a couple of cracked ribs.

He was a good size wether & is the guest of honour again for tea tonight.

My one and only experience with fake veggo meat was some horrible soy “sausages” – cost twice as much as a packet of cheese sizzlers, had one tenth the flavour, a weird chalky texture and they snapped in half when you put the fork in them. Wrong in every way.

Hang on yourself.
The argument is not about the information per se but about the FBI removing the information against a NZ Court order. I.e. the stuck their finger up the courts nose and said get fucked we will do as we please. They have played the police et al for suckers. Either that or the police colluded to get this result.
Given the current yankee record of anything I would go for the former. That’s why the world despises the Yanks.

Actually Key should pull the Yankee shirtlifter in to his office and send him home to get an explanation. We all got very pissed off when the Froggies took the law into their own hands and sunk a decrepit boat so please let us know how this is different. Indeed it is worse as their was a lawful process in place based on a shit treaty forced upon us by our so cxalled friends from the USA.

As for the issue of information and who it belongs to. This was always a red herring as it is clear from information that was made public all major US companies had the means to remove copyright material. They were just too lazy and were threatened by the new tomorrow, which is leap frogging them anyway. They were more concerned about Mega’s p[lans to run their own site that allowed uploading and pay per view/listen which would have meant that the artisits could run their own business via a mega site instead of enriching the studio’s.
It will happen and one can compare that to itunes and others.
Meantime the FBI have broken the Law in the USA. Hong Kong, NZ and probably other places as well.
Times are a changing and the Walker victory is the beginning of Americans reclaiming their country. Edgar Hoover and the FBI and its current operatives will be in for a hair cut and removal.

Viking… but they haven’t removed anything, the information is still there on the hard drives in little old NZ, exactly as it was. They just made a copy. This is exactly the argument people make to justify filesharing… they’re not stealing anything, they’re just making a copy that has no effect on the original. Unlike if you steal a car, no one is physically missing something they used to have possession of and now they don’t. Just wondering if anyone can explain why this ethical principle only works when it suits their argument, but mysteriously disappears when it doesn’t?

You may be Christian if:

Against a court order and an agreement made. That’s the argument not your attemp to derail the argument over the ownership of content.

The FBI has taken illegally that information, which didn’t belong to the. as well.There were many thousands who used the file sharing of Mega , including FBI,Yankee politicians and service personel all round the world. What are the FBI trolling for?

Are they looking for information stored other than pertinenet information relating to DotCom.
My guess is that they took this to find his passwords to the main servers and other information of that kind.

So do you think it right that a Law enforcement agency should be able to do that without court sanction.

Off course the “authorities” in NZ can and do when they want to. Should that not be supervised by a higher authority?

Might just be a good idea to read this and wonder if it is.

How to save an Airline.

Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in the first place….

Replace all the female flight attendants with good-looking strippers! What the hell, they don’t even serve food anymore, so what’s the loss?

The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a ‘party atmosphere’ going in the cabin. And, of course, every business man in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women.

Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn’t need a salary, thus saving even more money. I suspect tips would be so good that we could charge the women for working the plane and have them kick back 20% of the tips, including lap dances and ‘special services.’

Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing naked women. Hijackings would come to a screeching halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues.

This is definitely a win-win situation if we handle it right — a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an asset.

Why didn’t Bush or Obama think of this? Why do I still have to do everything myself?
