Another failure by a out of their depth Government that has no idea how to handle money.
“No checks inplace or being made on beneficiaries paid $5,000 by the Government to move and start new jobs”.
It has been touted as a way to get beneficiaries into jobs but 1 News can reveal no checks are made too see if those that move for a job stay in the role.
This has led to accusations of workers moving jut to receive the $5,000 and quitting only weeks after.
“(It was)” pretty catastrophic because they left and we could not employ anyone else Tasman apple grower Simon Easton told 1News.
In the last seven months 2,272 people applied compared to seven months earlier before when under 500 kiwis signed up.

1 News has also discovered problems with another scheme to relocate workers for $1,000 where MSD weren’t checking with employers whether people were still working there either, the Ministry has now changed that after questions from 1News.

  Telly News discovered shit. The fake scheme was reported to them by employers (who lost their below market employees) and Telly news went into damage control that MSD werent doing their job. Everything is fine except a few people at MSD need some more training.

  A few years back there was a “move for cash” scheme and it was badly rorted. Of course it will be rorted again if the checks are not in place and there is no mechanism to reclaim the money (in part or full).
  
  Even with checks in place what are they going to do? That money is long gone. Maybe they can take them to court and get it back at $2 a week over the next 50 years.
  
  MSD will count this as a win anyway because what they measure is spending. More spending is good. They call it investing, but it is really spending.
  
  The only thing that sounds better than “We invested $10 million relocating people for jobs” is “We invested $20 million relocating people for jobs.”
  
  Anyway, who cares it is only taxpayer money….

People have been whispering that NZ First offered to work with the Key Government to reform the Resource Management Act on the condition Treaty references were removed from the Act.
Given that Key’s Government were responsible for signing up to the UN declaration that began He Puapua, not to mention National and Kyoto and the RMA itself it would be interesting to know the truth.

  At the point New Zealand signed, New Zealand was the last country to reverse their vote against the non-binding policy. Pita Sharples’ speech to the UN welcomed the measure but said New Zealand would continue to follow their own Treaty of Waitangi.
  
  Legislation after the State Owned Enterprises case has followed suit in giving the treaty an increased legal importance. In New Zealand Maori Council v Attorney General (1990) the case concerned FM radio frequencies and found that the treaty could be relevant even concerning legislation which did not mention it and that even if references to the treaty were removed from legislation, the treaty may still be legally relevant.         The academics have a fixation with radical change. It feeds their egos. When a complex system is operating at an optimal level then small continuous improvement is the best strategy. Key would have understood this

        All of those things are the direct results of the implementation of her politics. All of those policy areas will be seen as successes to the left, because they don’t think like people on the right do. If they did, they wouldn’t be leftists. We needn’t act as loyal fluffers for John Key just because he was in the National Party.

      Exactly. I can’t stand Ardern and think her politics are deluded, but she enacts her politics in concrete ways. The right tend to do nothing of substance and make no institutional changes when they come to power, and I suspect that this is because theirs is essentially just a less-radical version of leftism in terms of social policy. It’s no good having slightly more money in your pocket if society is disintegrating around you.

Once those over 60 who want to be vaccinated have had their jabs, is there any reason why we can’t open the borders and go back to real life? The under 59 cohort aren’t vulnerable, and anyone who chooses not to be vaccinated has chosen to take their chances, so why must we wait?

  I have a little stash of Stromectol (ivermectin) ready. The trials of this medication are continuing to demonstrate great results reducing the symptoms that kill, while allowing the body to deal with the virus as it does the 100s of others we inhale every day. That said, I’m fit and healthy. It’s been almost 2 decades since I had a dose of the flu.

    Because it’s not a health issue, it’s a political issue. Viewed through this lens, it all makes more sense. People cannot be allowed to choose for themselves. However, given that it is a political issue, I cannot see how we can be discriminated against by private companies due to our political opinion, as is made clear in the s 22(1)(j) of the Human Rights Act 1993. This is in addition to the protections from the state in the Bill of Rights Act 1990, with regard to forced medical treatment.

      If someone is determined not to have it and happens to work somewhere like border security or MIQ, they will need to accept that their personal choices result in them needing to be reassigned or something.
      
      Luckily, I would bet that 85-90% of the population understand that the vaccine is a worthwhile endeavour.

      Exactly. “Herd immunity” doesn’t necessitate 100% of the population having defenses against the virus (be they natural via viral exposure, or artificially produced by experimental gene therapy acting on our DNA). Another reason why we can infer that this vaccine is not about Covid-19. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is just the first shot in a lifetime of vaccines for everyone and for everything.

      Krazy, isn’t the IFR close to twice that, more like 0.26 or so ? Normal flu is around 0.12, and a “bad” flu can be 0.24 or a bit more.
      
      The major difference seems to be the age profile, Covid does have a distinctly more severe impact on older (and typically sicker) age groups. Thus for young people Covid does seem to be less serious than the flu; and as such the risk/reward on vaccination for the, say, under 20 age group is quite possibly negative. Vaccinating that group would therefore be unethical at best.
      
      The numbers should be available from overseas to get reasonable answers on this without too much delay.

        Most of the FDA report you quote Jack5 is a caution against using drugs in doses made for animals. This applies to all such medications, not just ivermectin.
        Their other caution (untested use) they admit is because “it has yet to be evaluated”.
        
        I’m not for or against it’s use in any way, but your reference is not strictly what you seem to be saying about the drugs use in Covid treatment.

        So a single number for any given population depends on the population demographics, and isn’t really that useful anyway. Any comparison with influenza would have to be on an age related IFR basis, but then that depends on the particular strain of flu.

        New Zealand’s done remarkably well so far in this pandemic, but there could well be trouble ahead. Taiwan, which has done even better than New Zealand, now has had 327 local cases in the last two weeks.
        
        Taiwan’s Minister of Health and Welfare, Chen Shih-chung, said the effective reproduction number (Rt), or the projected number of people who contract the disease from an infected person, had fallen to 1.02. If it continued to drop below one, the spread of the virus could be under control again.
        
        “This was the result of everyone constraining themselves in the past 14 days,” he said.
        
        Chen urged everyone to continue practising health protocols and warned Taiwan could not afford to relax measures to halt the spread of Covid-19.

        Jack5, sure. The usual cautions from FDA. Meanwhile, the real research is being done in the field and the results speak for themselves:
        
        In February 2021, the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD), an international meeting of physicians, researchers, specialists, and patients, followed a guideline development process consistent with the WHO standard. It reached a consensus recommendation that ivermectin, a verifiably safe and widely available oral medicine, be immediately deployed early and globally. The BIRD group’s recommendation rested in part on numerous, well-documented studies reporting that ivermectin use reduces the risk of contracting COVID-19 by over 90% and mortality by 68% to 91%.

        Six prevention studies showed Ivermectin reduced the risk of getting COVID-19 by 92.5 percent, superior to many vaccines. Dr. Hector Carvallo, a professor of medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, gave 788 doctors and other health care workers in three medical centers weekly Ivermectin prophylaxis, with a control group of 407 doctors and others who didn’t get the drug. In the control group 236 people, or 58 percent, “had become ill with COVID.” Among the 788 who got Ivermectin, “no infections were recorded.”

        Let’s take that one element at a time.
        
        Novel: Because mRNA has never been used to deliver gene therapy on this scale before. It’s new.
        
        Gene Therapy: Because that’s what the Pfizer and Moderna treatments are. They do not fulfill any of the definitions of a vaccine, they do fulfill every definition of a gene therapy – using WHO’s own definition
        
        Experiment: Because none of the treatment have completed Phase-III clinical trials, and to the best of my knowledge, all have been authorised for use under emergency use authorisation. This makes every recipient a part of the evolving experiment.

  If you look at this data from the UK, about 75 percent of people who are admitted to critical care are under 60. (Which makes sense as there are more of them.)
  
  If you are under 50 you are unlikely to die from COVID unless you have co-morbidities like being obese (which of course many New Zealanders are.) However many people under 50 become critically ill. And many die. The data shows that the 50-69 age group is indeed vulnerable to very serious illness and long lasting effects.
  
  Note this data is only for people who ended up in intensive care. It does not include people who were simply supported by oxygen.
  
  I am 59. I don’t want to catch COVID. The chances of me dying are about 1 in 250. The chances of me ending up in hospital are about 1 in 50. I don’t like those odds.
  
  Of course age is a major factor. If you are over 80 you are highly vulnerable to death. If you are over 70 you are moderately vulnerable to death. If you are 50 – 70, you are moderately vulnerable to serious illness.

    Drawing conclusions for a population based on this data is a nonsense. People with severe/moderate underlying health conditions should obviously vaccinate regardless of age, not just against covid but flu etc. But if they chose not to that would be on them.
    
    None of this provides us with the logical leap to coercing vaccination of people with nothing to worry about when it comes to the Covid.

      Well I have no significant underlying health conditions and at 59 I would be worried about catching COVID. I stress – worried – not terrified. The most likely course at my age is that I would feel awful for a week and then slowly recover. I don’t want that experience.
      
      I have a colleague – mid 50s – she was in New York when the thing started. She ended up in hospital on oxygen and took months to fully recover. She was otherwise fit and healthy.

        I had the virus, Benedict, and I’ve had worse hangovers, and I have a few years on you. Don’t fret about feeling crook for a week and then recovering. That’s what the flu does. Do we shut down the country because of that? The vaccine takes care of the symptoms, so go get it if the prospect of a week in bed stresses you. I think you are more stressed by all the fear-mongering that is going on than by what you are actually at risk of.

      Well I’m in my upper 70s and I’m beginning to get worried whether I will get the vaccination this year.
      I saw my Doctor last week. He told me that he has no idea when I will get a vaccination. He said they are getting no useful information out of the DHB.
      I was given a number at the DHB, by someone else, where I could enquire. He had no idea either. The best he could offer is that I might get called in June or July, but only MIGHT.
      He said he had no information and no idea what was really going on.
      I think I am going to relabel myself as being Pasifika.

        A friend of my fathers in his 80’s turned up to get vaccinated at a clinic and the staff said unless he was part Maori he couldn’t get the jab. What is this based on? I don’t think Maori have had covid in higher numbers than Europeans.

    Benedict, note that the UK does NOT provide any treatment for early stage Covid sufferers. As we’ve discussed before, the evidence is available that with appropriate treatment the hospitalisation rate can be cut by 80-90 %.
    
    Once hospitalised you’re dealing more with serious damage to the lung tissue, opportunistic infections and blood clotting issues; and those early stage treatments are mostly ineffective at that point.

      I don’t disagree that the risk/reward calculation for older people is undoubtedly positive (with regard to short and medium term, we don’t have long term numbers available); but I would still argue that more work is needed to show a positive impact for young people.

    There is some fascinating research emerging about how SARS-CoV-2 kills. I’ll post in more details at another time. It appears that SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is the cause of Covid-19 deaths rather than the virus body itself. The protein it is exactly what the mRNA vaccine (technical gene therapy) instructs our bodies to build, the theory being we’ll produce antibodies. But… these proteins don’t stay localised at the injection site as initially believed, but rather they flow through the body and accumulate in key places; spleen, ovaries and others.     I’m 65, and have a couple of underlying health conditions, one of which will eventually send me to the grave. I’m keen to postpone that for as long as possible, so have accepted an appointment for my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine next week. My 71-year-old brother had his first shot a couple of weeks ago, and it didn’t kill him off, so I’ll take some comfort from that.

      Divide that by 10 to get the trust’s slice, then divide the slice by about 350 to get each staff member’s potential reward from a wind-up or sale.

    You are being put under extreme pressure to take a substance that changes your genetic makeup, all because of a virus that has no more than a 0.03% fatality rate. A virus that is parallel with the flu (which has mysteriously vanished since the arrival of Covid). Not to mention that the FDA have not approved this as a legitimate vaccine as yet, but have only approved for emergency use.
    
    This means that it’s being tested on you! Most ‘vaccine’ companies don’t even refer to this as a vaccine, but as an ‘operating system.’ I’ll assume that Mr Gates likes to call it this!
    
    If you are ignorant enough to tell me that I am selfish enough to want my DNA to remain intact, at the risk of somebody’s life, who already has underlying conditions and probably would have died from the flu or any other ailment, due to their own failing immune system, then you are completely insane.
    
    I see people stating that ‘if it’s the only way to get back to normal, then I’m having it.’ I’m just gobsmacked.
    
    These people are more than prepared to risk change of the very fabric of what ‘life’ is, just so they can get their ‘life’ back?
    
    If you think I’m talking rubbish then more fool you. Go and have the vaccine. Hopefully, you wont have to regret your decision, should the time come.
    
    This information is readily available for you to read. If you are ignorant enough to roll up your sleeves with your eyes completely shut, then maybe you have no idea on what the meaning of ‘life’ actually is, and you’re chasing a complete fantasy.
    You think its about saving lives.
    
    You think it’s as clear cut as ‘life or death.’ It’s not. It’s not dying from a vaccine that I’m scared of. It’s living with it’s potential long term effects. As opposed to the 99.97% survival rate that will see the back of the effects of Covid in about a week.
    So you took the vaccine and didn’t die. Wonderful news!

      mRNA is transcripted from DNA, and although there exists a mechanism (reverse transcriptase) to turn RNA back into DNA, I haven’t seen anything that documents that this is happening with the vaccine components.

        Putting aside the tone of your post, the source you reference is public facing FAQ page about the vaccine.
        
        The herd immunity part is a higher level guard against whatever disease you’re targeting.
        
        The higher the percentage of vaccination, the more that viral spread is smothered as it struggles to find willing hosts whose systems don’t immediately attack and degrade the virus.
        
        That is separate to the personal benefits of the virus, being that you can go about your life and not be at risk of catching what is a fairly destructive illness (see: the long tail sufferers who were previously healthy).

        That is how vaccines work on an individual level. The herd benefits only come once you and I have it, that people who are immuno-compromised are much safer as viral spread of the flu (less so)/mumps/measles/Covid etc is drastically reduced to the point of there being no spread.
        
        Maybe it’s not always about what the benefit is to you, and about the benefits to someone you love or know who cannot get it for whatever reason (vaccine skepticism or political idiocy is not a reason).

They say it is a memorial to WW1 soldiers, but I saw no reference to them
They are saying it is a place for all NZers, but I only see reference to Maori, PI and the middle east…no reference to European or Asian NZers, let alone any others.
It is a lovely looking place and should be saved for it’s own history in it’s own right, but I doubt this group has the where with all to do that.
They instead, look like a group of wannabes, that want a free (almost) building to play with.

      I did once read a report of research into the impact of police body cameras. Turns out assaults both by and on police officers went down. Probably not surprising when you think about it – at least some of those who assault police officers are capable of enough thought at the time to realise that it being caught on camera will not work in their favour. And as all professions will attract some who want to abuse the position, those people will be more cautious if they know their actions are on record.

  Unconscious bias is untestable, and people cannot be trained out of any unconscious bias, as there is pretty much zero difference between unconscious bias and instantaneous perception. The inventors of the Implicit Association Test (Banaji and Greenwald) KNOW this, as the test doesn’t pass the diagnostic “test, retest” reliability rule. That is, if the test is taken twice, to be used as a diagnostic tool (like for instance, an IQ test) the results have to be at least 80% the same. And 80% is even looked upon as not great. The IAT test lies at 50% on reliability. Its a joke, the inventors know it, yet it is consistently used for something it was never meant to be. And the inventors do not kick up a fuss about it as they bloody well should.
  Any person that gives any creedence to this crap should be frog marched out of their office and tossed in the gutter, but I guess that would mean most of the Heads of Govt Department and most of the Labour Party.

  Of course there’s an unconscious bias. That is how our brains work. We build unconscious biases are a result of classification – one of the neat things our brain does to help us get through everyday activities. This makes thinking easier and faster.
  
  When we see food we like to eat we have an unconscious bias to consume it.
  
  When we see snakes (or other dangers) we have an unconscious bias to run away from them.
  
  Since Maori are disproportionately involved in crime, it is obvious that our classification system is going to set the “here comes trouble” threat dial a bit higher when an unknown Maori person approaches. Once we get to know the person we then reset the dial according to their personal attributes.
  
  Police get more shit from dealing with Maori people, so of course they will have a bias.

    And that bias (evaluation of risk) it is not just whether they are Maori or Pakeha, it is also how they are dressed, their “fashion accessories”, who they are with, the way they speak, their body language, and general demeanor.
    
    These outward signs may be indicators as to how much self respect a person has, and therefore how much respect for others. Its all part of conscious / subconscious risk evaluation, and more pertinent than skin colour.
    
    Police will not be biased to skin colour, but outward appearance and level of threat.

    Newshub alleges that the male staff member yelled at Nick Smith, Smith yelled back, and it all wrapped up soon afterwards. But another staff member for another MP videoed the exchange, without the consent of either party, then made a complaint.

  From what I have heard, a staffer yells at Smith who yells back and some snivelling shit walking past hears the argument and secretly records it. Then the arse runs off to parliamentary services and lays a complaint against Smith.
  The real question here surely is; did the snivelling arse not breach the privacy of both the staffer and Smith by secretly recording their discussion without their permission, if so, has the Privacy Commissioner instigated proceedings against this person.
  There appears to be something very toxic with parliamentary services with their involvement in the bogus rape claim, and subsequent employment case, little action over the reported sexual assault in the PM’s office and now this crap.
  Smith is known for his short fuse, and has been taunted over the years, but this smells like a smarmy hit job through it being leaked and National need to push the breach of Privacy issue really hard.

    I have had someone blow up in me in the office, and it was reported, and later we settled it and years later we still work together.
    
    “Bullying’ is an accusation like ‘racism’ where the bar is so low, the term is so misused and overused, that it doesnt mean jack anymore.
    Each example needs looking at. The bar needs to be defined. Adults disagreeing doesn’t count.
    Unbecoming conduct, petulant or poor behaviour is something else.
    It’s not like there is a suggestion that it got physical – because THAT would be serious…..Oh wait.
    If only verbal & if the parties involved settle it/come to peace, then it is ugly but not a cardinal sin.

  Happy, but its not a “one in a hundred year” rain. I come from Ashburton and remember the river bridge very close to having water flowing across it in 1978. And the Ashburton river flooded prior to that, I think in the 1930’s.
  You are correct though, Ardern lives for misery. That way she can show how caring she is, while all the time, making everyone equally miserable.

  John Key was there after the Chch earthquake and at Pike River.
  Walter Nash was down on the waterfront as survivors came in from the Wahine just months before his death.

  It is the boiling of them alive, which I have seen filmed and shared several times.
  The dogs howl.
  There is even footage of them pulling the fur off a still living dog, and chuckling away – because the burns have loosened the fur and killed the nerves, yet the bewildered dog is still alive.
  The trussed up dogs being put in to boil alive know what is happening.

Can I just ask what the hell is going on in the National Party at the moment? Nick Smith announced he was resigning from Parliament in part at least because a story about an employment dispute was going to be published the next day. Two days on and that story still hasn’t appeared, and now we find out that it was Judith Collins who gave Nick Smith the heads up about the alleged story. She didn’t even deny it on Morning Report this morning.

I get that a leader has an obligation to protect the party and that this might sometimes require hard decisions even about loyal and long-serving MPs. But this seems like a particularly shabby way to treat someone like Smith, who would no doubt have retired at the the next election anyway.

  It has been alleged that Collins gave Smith a heads-up. RNZ said she neither confirmed nor denied.
  
  But the party comes before any individual MP, and if Collins told Smith that media were shopping an adverse story around the traps, what’s wrong with telling him? He had already said he wasn’t enjoying being a List MP, and that he would likely resign at some point. It’s hardly as though she has engineered his resignation.

  I think Judith actually did Nick Smith a favour giving him the heads up. She shouldn’t be condemned for alerting him. Imagine if the story did actually break in the media and she knew about it but didn’t think to tell him. It seems the media isn’t going to say much about it now that we all know it was supposed to be coming. Either that, or they are leaving it until another time when Jacinda is on the ropes for something and needs ‘protecting’!!??
  
  Ideally Nick should have gone before the last election but it’s easy to say this in hindsight. It’s just so sad seeing an excellent MP who has done so much good in his 30 odd years in Parliament, leaving like this.

It all makes perfect sense if you understand the outcome: hundreds of thousands of small businesses across the world going to the wall, and big businesses taking up the resultant slack. If the SMH journo wants people to agree with his argument he should make and win the argument using facts and then the people decide. If he wants less conspiracy theorists he should present intelligent arguments for his case not condescending pieces that treat his readers like morons.

IMHO the Republican and Maori Agendas are as follows.
1. The Maori elders are concerned that cutting all ties with the UK Crown may weaken the Treaty in time.
2. This could be the result of a growing Asian population and MPs who have no attachment to the Treaty
3. The Republicans see a move to a Maori Parliament as a way to assauge their concerns.
4. The first step has been the Maori Health Authority with veto rights over Whiteys Authority.
5. The next steps will be Education Courts etc.
6. As alway in politics timing in everything.
7. The next opportunity for a Republic is when the Queen passes however the Sheeple dont seem to be in the mood yet.
8. William is very popular with the Millennials so it needs to be done before he ascends to the Throne.
8. Charles is 72 and if he lives to his Mother and Fathers ages thast at least 20 plus years.
9. The deadline is 2040 the 200th anniversary of the Treaty and the time set in the UN Declaration.
10. Once the various Maori Agencies are established the Republicans will say they cant be undone as this would breach the UN Declaration,
11. So this my folks is a cunning plan to achieve two objectives. A Republic and a Supreme Maori Parliament.

And thats why Cindy et al doesnt want He Puapua discussed and debated as it would shine light on the Agenda.

  There are a lot of reasons Jacinda doesn’t want it discussed. Mainly because she lacks the courage to face 85% of the population of New Zealand and tell them that thanks to her:
  • Their vote will be worth about 1/6 of the vote of a Maori
  • Their property may be confiscated and handed to some iwi
  • Maori will enjoy a better standard of healthcare, education and a free pass when they break the law
  • The process of government decision making will grind to a halt
  • Every time they turn on the tap, go to the beach, plug in a heater, they will pay a levy to some unaccountable Maori organisation.
  You get the picture. It will be horrible.
  In my experience dealing with progressive liberals they avoid conflict. They disguise their real intentions with ambiguous words. They spring their real agenda at the last minute and claim your consensus.

  2. No, there is no reason to believe that more MPs have no attachment to the treaty. On the contrary, it is firmly embedded at the heart of our constitution.

  4. The Maori Health authority is hardly a first step in attempts to incorporate Maori interests in our institutions.

      While the world, as a whole, is in a population decline there are a few places with increasing populations – Africa in particular.
      
      No country in Africa is now able to feed itself (most could 30 years ago) and it is pretty much a machine that converts foreign aid into people.

The 27-year-old says she supports the transgender community, but not at the expense of others.

  If I had been born female, grew up (passing through puberty), as a girl, and entered adulthood, delighting in my womanhood, and was denied an Olympic games medal by a Laurel Hubbard-type opponent, regardless of the sport (except Equestrian) that I was competing in, I would be spitting tacks!!.
  
  What if, over the next 50 years or so, this nonsense really takes off? Trans-women take out the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the Women’s Weightlifting, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Fencing, Swimming, High Jump — No! No! I couldn’t bear it (not that I’ll be around to see it, thank goodness) — Long Jump, 100 metres, 5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, Marathon, etc., etc. events?
  
  What if it extended into team sports? At any given time, in a Silver Ferns v Diamonds netball clash, ten (or more!) of the 14 players on court are trans-women?
  
  Wouldn’t such abominations literally crush the hopes and dreams of girls and young women, everywhere? Of course, it would.

I remember when

So why don’t farmers’ get allowance for this when we discuss their carbon footprint.

    Can we then reclassify their activities as “assisting in carbon sequestration by consuming grass, encouraging the regrowth of grassland to increase carbon absorption”? Follow-up questions for Pharmachick about Covid vaccine etc…

The other day I posted a link to an article on the Salk Institute website where they cite a study on how dangerous the so-called “spike protein” is (the spikes that surround the SARS-CoV-2 virus), all by itself. Apparently the spike protein can cause damage to the cells that line arteries, leading to blood clotting etc. This is even when using a dummy virus.

Now today, I read read another story saying the same thing. Supposedly, the assumption when injecting the vaccine into the shoulder muscle is that it will stay on the site of the injection, in the shoulder. But, in fact, it is being reported that it is entering the bloodstream and causing damage. This is why we are seeing blood clotting, heart damage and the like.

It’s too long for me to post the whole article, but some snippets –

“The SARS-CoV-2 has a spike protein on its surface. We now know spike protein gets into circulation. We thought the spike protein was a great target antigen; we never knew it was a toxin. So by vaccinating people, we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin.”

“The assumption until now has been that these vaccines behave like all of our traditional vaccines; that they don’t go anywhere, they stay in our shoulder. Some of the protein will go to the local draining lymph node in order to activate the immune system.”

Shockingly, according to [Dr. Bridle, Associate Professor of Viral Immunology at the University of Guelph], the COVID-19 vaccine is different from traditional vaccines. For the first time ever, the Japanese Regulatory Agency recently gave Bridle and several international collaborators access to a study called “the Bio-Distribution Study.” The groundbreaking research presents scientists with a more reliable understanding of where COVID-19 messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines travel in the body after being injected. Bridle explains the study absolutely refutes the premise that the COVID-19 vaccine stays in the shoulder muscle, asserting:

“The short answer—is absolutely not. It’s very disconcerting. The spike protein gets into the blood, circulates through the blood in individuals over several days post-vaccination. Once it gets in the blood, it accumulates in a number of tissues such as the spleen, the bone marrow, the liver, the adrenal glands. And of particular concern for me is it accumulates in the ovaries, in quite high concentrations.”

Moreover, a scientific paper* just accepted for publication in the Oxford University Press for the Infectious Diseases Society of America supports this frightening hypothesis. The research examined thirteen young healthcare workers who had received the Moderna vaccine. Scientists discovered the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein circulating in the blood of eleven of the thirteen healthcare workers. Bridle emphasized that the spike protein could cross the blood-brain barrier, causing neurological damage, explaining why fatal blood clots are often seen in the brain. Elaborating on the implications of these findings, he remarked:

“We have known for a long time that the spike protein is a pathogenic protein. It is a toxin that can cause damage in our body if it gets into circulation. Now, we have clear-cut evidence that the vaccines that make the cells in our deltoid muscles manufacture this protein, [we now know] the vaccine itself plus the protein gets into blood circulation. When in circulation, the spike protein can bind to the receptors that are on our platelets and the cells that line our blood vessels. When that happens, it can do one of two things: it can either cause platelets to clump, and that can lead to clotting—that’s exactly why we’ve been seeing clotting disorders associated with these vaccines. It can also lead to bleeding, and of course, the heart is involved, which is part of the cardiovascular system, so that is why we are seeing heart problems.”

  Its called a Depot injection. That means it puts a small glut of drug/vaccine in your deltoid muscle in your arm, then that “leaks” into the system as drug comes past in the next couple days/weeks. Allos for priming of immune system rather than a massive “smash”. All good.

    The point is, is that – as I read it – the vaccine and the spike proteins it produces are supposed to stay in that shoulder muscle site and not be entering the circulation system where the spike proteins are capable of doing a lot of damage. “Leaking into the lymph node is fine, but not into the circulatory system. The person being injected just has to hope that this doesn’t happen. That’s what the article appears to be saying.

    One of our staff was the subject of an attempted car-jacking today.
    She was in her car and a bloke tried to get in and tack the car.
    He couldnt get in as she locked it.
    He ran off but was aprehended somewhere in Manurewa an hour later.

    Every time I have used VTNZ I lock the vehicle and hand them into reception when I do the paying etc. The keys are put on the job sheet and hand returned when the inspector talks me through the inspection. I very much doubt your story.

The Left are truly insane. They redefine words to the point of utter stupidity.

When Coster and all those other activists claim the system is systemically/institutionally racist, what they’re saying is actually this:

Maori as a percentage are more likely to commit crimes and are more likely to resist Police than non-Maori.
Therefore, any penalty for committing crimes is disproportionately going to negatively affect Maori people.
Any penalty that is seen as “overly harsh”, while only being applied to criminals is disproportionately going to effect Maori as a proportion of the population so therefore it’s racist and the non-Maori “victims” of the Police policy are collateral damage to the true reason for the policy – hurting Maori.
Personal choice doesn’t even come into it. Neither does the fact that most criminals get far less punishment than most Kiwis think they should get (which Maori as a proportion of the population benefit from to a greater percentage).

Basically, Activists are insane.

So, the Ministry of Education has given the green light for the first school (in Rotorua) to arrange their year using the Maori calendar.

A Rotorua school has been allowed to rearrange its dates of schooling for the year and reset to the Māori calendar, away from the Gregorian calendar.

It has been 18 months in the making but finally Education Minister Chris Hipkins and the Ministry of Education have allowed Te Wharekura o Ngāti Rongomai to make the change.

The Gregorian calendar is a solar dating system used by most of the world.

Tukiterangi and Renata Curtis, co-principals of the school in Rotorua, said they were thrilled to learn they could go ahead.

This now meant the school could change term one, which will start at the middle of the year when every other school starts term three.

There will be four weeks’ holiday instead of two weeks for every end-of-term holiday.

This is done to align the tauira to the Maramataka Māori and rest and work with students in sync with the Maramataka also.

  I’m not sure how the rearranged holidays will allow them to meet the requirement to be open for 380 half-days, but other than that, the public education system should offer genuine choices to parents and students. If this works, other schools may try it too.

Seems that the Nick Smith saga might have originated from the depths of the National camp, and not Trevor Mallard, after all.
Stuff reports that the bullying of a staffer was overheard and recorded by another National staffer who laid the complaint that led to the investigation. It wasn’t Trevor at all.
Sounds like Judith knows a lot more than she is letting on as well, and some are saying that she engineered Nick’s departure to make way for her ally Harete Hipango, at least that is what Politik is saying.
As for Smith’s behaviour, he has always been known to be a bully, even from way back in the Bolger days. He is not a good employer and is past his use by date

There’s been some folks on Wellington streets today holding placards saying ‘stop assaults against women and children’. A laudable sentiment, one might think.
However, what they were actually doing was handing out leaflets protesting the law change that allows persons to change the sex recorded on their birth certificate.
