Blair going going ….

June 27th, 2007 at 11:44 pm by David Farrar

Just got back to my hotel room with a few friends and by chance got to see Tony Blair’s final question time live. Huge standing ovation from all sides of the UK Commons as he finished.

He is now off to the Queen to formally resign.

Makes sense that Helen get the same treatment, as the corrupt UN snakes crank up the new world order because it must fructify .The nazi’s and masonics will be elated ( I’ll be back Arnie was foaming with glee) .

    Poor Israel.

Its a pity he wasnt held accountable for his involvement in the lies used to start war with Iraq before he left.
His leaving will be cold comfort to those who lost family and friends due to his and Bushes lies.

Compare Blairs going to that of Maggie , who of course was dumped by her party so the could eke out another election win using a few votes of Northern Island unionists

The NHS is in worse shape than our own Health system. There’s an upopular war. He sold peerages to cronies to raise millions for his party. He oversaw the implementation of the western worlds largest civilian surviellance society…..

Of course he got a standing ovation for the same reason Helen will….1/2 of them owe their jobs to him and the other half are just bloody glad to see him going.

At least the opposition will turn up to hear her valedictory – which was more than the “courtesy” she showed Don Brash!

Helen found more truth in reading Dons emails from The Hollow Man than hearing some tired old regrets from someone who had only been in Parliament for 4 years. Not even serving in the cabinet let alone being PM.
The countrys business doesnt stop because Don isnt wanted by the country nor the National party

Blair should be praised for invading Irag. The world is now 2 dictators fewer (Saddam & Milosevic). The West should also invade Iran.

Thats right go after Iran, only 2 times bigger and meaner than Iraq ever was at Gulf war I let alone Gulf War II.

Remeber Iran has promised if hit by the US to attack US interests all over the the world. Think McDonalds, coca cola, american movies plus suicide bombers.

And do you think they have been watching Iranian Idol for 4 years or learning very valuable lessons on US tactics. They have learn’t how to sink ships and shoot down helicopters.

Oh and by the way isn’t Iraq going well for the US, the only surge going on there is in the rise of US casualties and deaths.

Where do you stand on Cuba, Singapore, Nth Korea, china, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Pakistan with all those dictator type regimes?

Andy, a little question for you: If an Iranian suicide bomber blew himself and a bunch of innocent civilians up in McDonalds in Queent Street Auckland. Who would you blame; the US or Iran?

AndyL, context please. But most likely both, its not my fight.

So you would blame Iran? These things do not happen in a vaccum.

I have to say I voted for Blair in 97. His promise was to make the british pint a true pint ( it added more beer). That was enough for a Kiwi on his OE to get out to vote. ‘Cool Britannia’ those were the days. Although I think the spice girls reunion will be about as popular as Blair in the Mid east.

    Selma,

Why is almost every post of yours a sycophantic, arse kissing, twisted, loved up Clarkist hugathon. We know about her concern about the publics perception of her “legacy”, but has her vanity extended to the full time appointment of her own personal blog cheerleader. We know how history will view Clarks legacy, and popular and competent wont be two commonly used adjectives

Context Andy? That very context you are talking about in your post – Im not trying to invent a new one?

So let me get this straight, if Iran and the US were at war and Iran sent Suicide Bombers to NZ (who Id assume would be) a third party not directly involved in the conflict to kill its citizens, then you would blame both. Would you expect NZ to declare war on Iran or not? Cause shit its a good thing the Yanks didnt think that way in ’41.

    Bevan: True.

my ideas were to challenge this post:

‘Blair should be praised for invading Irag. The world is now 2 dictators fewer (Saddam & Milosevic). The West should also invade Iran.’

The context I am after is why should the west invade and why exactly should he be praised. Been a few issues over Iranian territorial waters but beyond that who has Iran pre emptively threatened?

I suppose my fear is of uninteded consequences of this thinking: ‘bad dictator, must invade’, we only have to look to Iraq to see this is a foolish policy.

And an expert transaltion of the ‘wipe them off’ quote.

I think you could say that the romans have vanished but were not wiped from the face of the earth, big difference but crap reporting and politics sometimes muddy the waters.

Your are twisting facts here to suite your own agenda. It is not the Iranians as a whole that hate the Jews, but rather the ruling elite (namely Ahmadinejad, Khomenei) – they are the ones that could (and seem to be building the capacity to) order the destruction of the Jewish state.

But hey, sometimes the nice people in the country run by the bastards get hurt when you try to stop them.

Andy, I think that Israel will strike Iran militarily at some stage. Iran will respond back, then Israel will go for the ulimate, nukes. Iran will nuke Israel, then Uncle Sam will wipe off Iran from the face of the Earth, end of story.

Andy : Chinese Nuke the US

Andy, do you read comic books or technology magazines ? I tell , you that the Chinese’s technology is more like a child play in comparison to the US. The US can nuke China, with China being impotent to fire back. WHY? Their technology is so 1960s, that they are obsolete in a modern nuclear war. Whatever the US does to Iran, the Chinese or the Russian would just watch as spectators. They can’t do anything else or risk an annihilation from the US nuclear strike forces.

Just to let you know, Blair got a 2 minute standing ovation, and after the labour side rose so did Cameroun who beckoned the tories to rise as well. Only a few Nationalist stayed their seats.

helen is of course a personal friend of both Blair and Brown and its NZ s advantage that we have access to these people. The USA doesnt care but Bush is largely ineffectual on things that matter to NZ.

Blair has been in the Commons for 24 YEARS. Brash was hardly there long enough to learn which buttons to push in the lift or remember where he left his laptop.
I doubt Maggie would have got an ovation from her own side

As opposed to Clark who gets Heather to push all her buttons.

I’ll tell you exactly why Clark should’ve stayed for Dr Brash’s brilliant valedictory speech – an election result which put him within 2% of the Dear Leader. A result which would’ve have been v. different if she hadn’t dipped into tax payer funds.

So by snubbing Dr Brash she snubs over 38% of all New Zealanders. Not to mention the fact Dr Brash was reserve bank governor for 14 years.

So face it Selma; Clark is rude & self serving.
