Peter’s Office did know about Air NZ flight

Documents released under the OIA show that Winston Peter’s office was informed about the Air New Zealand flights to Kuwait.

It’s one thing when the Ministry has not informed the Minister’s Office.  Then the Department is at fault.

But I say some apologies are due to Simon Murdoch.  At least one if not two staff in the Minister’s office were informed as they signed for receipt of the information. Any failing on their part to inform the Minister reflects on the Minister (it is his office) not the Ministry.
