Treasury website

Unless it is just me, the Treasury website has been on strike for the last three days or so. Maybe it is Treasury’s protest against Easter shop trading laws?

I doubt it. It probably down during the weekend, or perhaps earlier. And all the people who would be checking and fixing it are on holiday.

[DPF: They should have automated monitoring]

And the people who would complain about the site being down are on holiday too.

The internet should be shut down completely over Easter and Christmas! If you can’t do without the internet for 3.5 days a year, then there is something wrong with you. Technical support people at ISPs and content providers should have the same rights to go to reunions as everyone else in the country, including students working in retail who could really have done with the money, but excluding Labour Department staff who are required to work at reporting other people who are at work. And you should all be at church, praying and singing those songs about Jesus that Christians sing, rather than sitting in front of your computers stealing music, downloading porn, and reading Treasury analysis on the state of the economy.
