Phil Goff life saver
July 29th, 2011 at 9:39 am by David FarrarLabour List MP Raymond Huo blogs at Red Alert:
One Chinese community leader told me that Labour’s economic package is a “watershed moment” to define the future of New Zealand. Other constituents told me that when encountered with a natural disaster “Key is talking about how to save lives while Goff is going there to save lives”.
I’m amazed the media failed to report this saving of lives.

I must have missed Goff saving lives. Bloody media, never show the good stuff.
Vote:I wonder if he gave mouth to mouth to someone.
Maybe he climbed into rubble and dragged someone out.
Bloody media!!
Labour will go up in the polls with this news now out.

Why is there no National Party equivalent to ‘Red Alert’?
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 10:29 am
Because the National Party does not need to sink that low in terms of deception and propoganda?
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 10:33 am
YesWeDid, because the National Party has more fuckin sense than Trevor and his bunch of loser mates. While Labour are seen as pissing around with social media, National (rightly or wrongly) have the appearance of just getting on with the job.

Now, thats what you call a nut kicker.
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 10:38 am
Because it’s something you do when you go into opposition, and all your best MPs aren’t too busy being ministers and running the country.
There is a blog for National MPs, but it’s just used by back benchers.
When National is next out of power, they’ll probably do something like it.

The comment threads on Red Blert are always good for a laugh, I loved this:
[DPF: Yes that was a hilarious comment]

While John Key talks about New Zealand winning the world cup Phil Goff was actually captaining the 1987 All Blacks to world cup victory in the very same year he also won the mens downhill gold medal at the winter olympics.
Nice to see Labour attempting the “Kim Jong Il” leader spin.

Vote:Chris Fafoi has been helping Phil then?
July 29th, 2011 at 11:25 am
Phil may well have been saving lives and captaining the AllBlacks. Trouble is he can’t remember it.

Does Huo use opium?

Red Alert is a waste of time. Apart from the few righties who go there to rile up or argue with Trevor, it is nothing more than an echo chamber occupied by the usual loser commenters. I mean, Spud FFS. Pfftt.
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 11:50 am
It was the lives of Labour MPs he was intent on saving.

Phil Goff is working as a lifeguard at a swimming pool when a girl begins to drown, screaming “lifesaver! lifesaver!”
He thinks for a moment, and then asks “cherry or rasberry?”
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 12:27 pm
That has to be the most ridiculous piece of spin I have ever read.
Vote:July 29th, 2011 at 12:52 pm
I think they are called “lifesaver policies” because there is usually a bloody great hole in the middle of them.

I love Red Alert which I read very often.
If this represents the real Labour – God help us.
Its full of sycophantic poorly educated morons, but fun to read.

I remember DPF being lambasted for comparing Clark to Kim Jong Il. Well, that statement does sound like something the North Korean government would say.
