They don’t wear uniforms..

Longknives , Don’t tell me, tell the ex cop who just said “they get to wear a uniform to Court”.

I thought you had to be sworn in to wear a uniform. I guess this will be great news for crims who can now wear a police uniform and not have to worry about being done for impersonating a cop. They can say they are “un-sworn”.

Yeah right.

Anyway, he was a former cop but was a current “Reverend”, and probably still is a Reverend.

Non-Sworn Police employees don’t wear uniforms.
Graham Capill was as much a ‘Policeman’ as the guy who cleans the toilets at the Auckland Downtown cellblock.
He was a ‘Police Employee’- Not a Police Officer.

There is unease over in the Labour camp concerning the drop in the polls. Shearer is becoming increasingly suspicious of some of his fellow MPs and is starting to question their loyalty again as he believes he has been delierately misquoted. The silent T is still a problem and his ardent supporter Mickey Mouse is now having regular spots on the former Labour rag – the standard. This is not going down well with Tim Barnett and you do not see any guest appearances on the Standard from MPs anymore. Helen Kelly is really pushing her barrow there as she wants to be part of the new Union movement in the revised Labour Party after Shearer is rolled.

RF, I am getting pissed on from all sides here ! I was just asking if Capil was a cop who did prosecutions, or a police prosecutor ? I can understand others not understanding, but Polly should know better.

What is next, someone saying he is not really a Reverend because he did not wear the uniform ? 🙂

That’s why you are getting pissed on from all sides.
We all know you detest the NZ Police (and that’s your choice) but trying to lump them with that sick fuck Capill because he did a bit of work for them once is a bit bloody rough.

Non sworn civilian just like district office, property office etc…. I understood the title was Prosecutor. Media bless their little hearts used the title Police Prosecutor and its stuck.

RF, Polly said they wear uniforms. That is why I kept on about it. The only uniform I have seen prosecutors wear is a cute mini skirt or a suit. They are lawyers employed from a private law firm. They do not wear uniforms outside of fancy dress nights.

No my little police groupie friend. I just think we should regard authority with a healthy suspicion and not just bend over and take the official line. It is pretty clear from my overall comments what side I am on. Blogs are for challenging ideas, not for being an echo chamber.

Shunda barunda, I am pretty liberal on these sorts of issues. I do not think kids should be taught that sex is sinful or dirty, but I do not think famously promiscuous kiwi kids need it promoted in this way either.
