Ministers settle defamation suit

Trevor Mallard and John Tamihere have paid out $7,500 and corrected their lies to settle the defamation suit from Maori Party worker Amopura Panoho.

I assume that in fact I as a taxpayer have paid the $7,500, but hopefully I am wrong.

Still the boys have some way to go to beat Helen’s record for defamation suits.
