Now part of NZ’s documentary heritage

Received a letter over the weekend from the National Library seeking permission to take copies of this blog, as a site of interest to all New Zealanders.

I’m actually think it is very funny to think my rants here will now be stored alongside Michael King’s History of NZ! Actually I approve of the general intention to retain copies of electronic materials, but admit to having some concern that in 20 years time some turd will jump up and say “Oh yes but Mr Farrar on 3 May 2005 you said X” according to the National Library.

Nevertheless I have of course given permission. The copying includes all files including images, so the photos of the new ultra-blond Miss Ten (coming to a blog near you soon) will be archived for all history also 🙂
