Donald & Tanczos

Well how many people knew of viral myocarditis before yesterday. Sounds like that it would have been highly unlikely for anyone to have guessed this is what Rod Donald had. Nevertheless I still think there is a lesson for many in making sure you see a doctor if you are sick, and don’t know what is wrong.

The replacement of Donald with Nandor has generated considerable discussion. Even on Frog Blog, the comments have been mixed, and in the NZ Herald John Armstrong calls the decision “so obviously the wrong one”

I’m actually feeling rather sorry for Nandor in all this. There would have been celebrations if he had made it in on special votes, but coming in this way is hard. However having said that, he did himself no favours labelling Parliament a toxic hell-hole yesterday. That’s an awful attitude to take to the place – if you hate it that much you don’t have to be there. The world will survive without you.
