The victim was unknown to him. She and her partner went out jogging but separated. When she was only 1.6km away from the place where they were staying, Mr Alder drove into her. The Judge said that he did so deliberately, but Mr Alder continues to maintain that it was an accident.

She was thrown onto the windscreen of the car and into a ditch. She suffered severe injuries, but they were not life threatening. Rather than seek help, Mr Alder put her into his car and drove to an isolated house down a long driveway.
Having ascertained that no one was home, he raped and sexually violated her, then killed her by striking her on the head with a heavy drainage pipe and stabbing her at least 35 times.

Because babies don’t ‘exist’ before they’re born (or so the socialists / feminists would have us believe; they are mere ‘collections of cells’ and incapable of doing anything) and because the people who commit such crimes are perceived as being ‘Human’ and therefore of ‘value’ they should not be killed in retaliation for what they have done.
      
      This line of thought doe not of course extend to the newborns in the state of New York…

    People like my family, in which we collectively have more degrees than Jacinda has angles to tilt that neck of hers?
    
    My grandfather and his brothers who developed returned services balloted farms after WWI.
    
    My family have all been employed, and paid tax. Other than the family benefit and the Universal Pension or National Super, my family have not been “on the benefit”, coveted what others had or wanted handouts from government.
    
    I was 57, 3 years younger than Sam when Davis, said “what are we going to do to deserve Sam’s forgiveness?”.
    
    My response to Davis is, nothing. It is Sam and his 5,000 mates who chose collectively to be in the gangs and to pursue the lives they did. At no point, did they collectively say “this lifestyle is wrong, it is not working, we want to stop this, we need help to turn ourselves around”. Those words have never been said as a group by Sam and his mates.
    
    So, when Davis and his fellows give speeches as quoted by Yvette, the words are hollow and I feel no guilt. I see nothing, but somebody who is tired of his life and now has his hand out and expecting someone else to pay for his life choices.
    
    Can we expect more of this if people give 2 votes red; or
    2 votes Green; or
    2 votes NZF?

    He has most definitely implied that he has – he has for example claimed that he had some proof that Seth Rich was the source for the DNC email release. If he does have such information (which knowing his form I remain somewhat sceptical of) he would indeed be a target for Arkancide unless he had a “deadman’s switch” arrangement to release that information publicly in the event of his untimely death.
    
    Some truly serious swamp dwellers would be highly discomforted by verifiable proof of the involvement of Seth Rich in the whole email,scandal.
    
    I would not be surprised to see this brought up by his lawyers as yet another reason why he shouldn’t be extradited.

    In any case, leaving aside the potential fraud, it’s another indication that NZTA is broken. If there is a $100K cap on spend without a tender, there should have been tenders for this work once it exceeded that cap within 12 months (total was $246K, then $356K after a recent contract).
    What seems to have gone on here is NZTA breaking up contracts to proceed without a tender. Was there no mechanism to measure spend on a firm over 12 months, to ensure the $100k cap was not exceeded ?
    This smacks of more corruption at NZTA, regardless of whether the minister’s partner profited from it.
    There should be an immediate audit of NZTA’s Procurement function.

  Problem is, a lot of kiwis seems to think giving jobs and contracts to your buddies is fine. I myself was offered some taxpayer-funded work on the basis of who I was related to. I did the honourable thing and turned it down because I felt uncomfortable about it. The other problem is that most NGOs are taxpayer funded through grants etc, so the same rules should apply.

      It gives urban social liberals a way to interfere with Farming since they wont do it themselves. They get to feel important while contributing nothing.
      
      I watched some video footage of Winter Cropping in Southland the other day and the propaganda was palpable. They waited until a massive downpour before they filmed the footage.
      Now i know where i live i see paddocks get flooded in the winter and despite higher ground the cattle wade out into the middle of it all just stand there for some bloody reason.
      So imo they should stick to milking their Almonds or what ever it is they do.

      And let’s quietly ignore the massive water supply issues around growing almonds in California –no environmental issue there?
      As for the alternative meats –can’t people remember the days of having TVP (textured vegetable proteins) in meat pies. Nothing new except I believe there is quite a bit of GE technology used in the labs for the new stuff.

Fucking “please”. Are you serious? “Please”, as in being polite and inoffensive and charming…. An appropriate response would be what I got when suggesting shedding a tear if a certain person happened to be “Epsteined” ( Which was a strike, and a Do not do that again). No please, or thank you, or play nicely.

      Except it wasn’t private information. Work emails can’t be private, especiallyif they are published on a website. Now if I had some how got their personal phone numers and personal e mail addresses and physical addresses, I could see the problem there. However, I take your point that DPF would not want to be seen to allow doxing, ( even if technically it was not doxxing in the legal sense of the word) so I have no problem with the removal. But I want to make it understood that I did not hack or do anything illegal in obtaining those addresses. Snovio merely searches a website and dumps any e mails it finds in a list. If anyone has information that indicates my assumtptions are incorrect, I am happy to be corrected.

  I’ve been meaning to try a couple of these so-called meat substitutes, to see if any of them actually taste close enough to meat that I’d be willing to switch. But I don’t have high hopes – while doing some reading on the subject I was amazed to learn that tofu was created as a meat substitute. Frigging tofu, about as un-meatlike a substance as you can get. Some of the newer alternatives at least resemble meat, but who knows about the taste/texture.
  
  I’m exploring this because reducing meat consumption seems to be the latest SJW obsession. For now it’s just suggesting individuals voluntarily reduce their own meat consumption, but what’s the bet it will become a demand to ban meat for everybody.
  
  I would have hoped that such a massive and intrusive piece of social-engineering couldn’t be passed without widespread popular support… but this government has proved that when in power SJW busybodies are willing to make sweeping changes regardless of what us plebes think.

    There was a horrible story (from my point of view) on the news the other day how in Australia they are “growing” kangaroo meat by taking stem cells from animals and cultivating them in labs. The meat has to be grown in a “fetal bovine serum”. Some reckon this is the future of meat..

      The idea of being able to somehow produce real meat without needing to raise and butcher animals has been common in sci-fi for a long time. Recently there have been serious real world suggestions of how this could be achieved, such as the technique you mentioned.

steffy’s post’s yesterday on the Sydney stabbing rampage was “demented” and even “manic”.

Could it be that they are starting realise they have chosen the wrong horse to pin their hopes for more money on with the growing realisation that she really is a one hit wonder and that “hit” has smacked them firmly in the balls (or general area in steffy’s case)?

steffy’s posts yesterday were the most mentally disconnected I have ever seen from her and were so far off topic most of the time I actually think she has lost the plot and we all know psycho hasn’t been functioning “up stairs” for quite some time.

    UHI is trivial to demonstrate and is acknowledged pretty widely as existing – at least in regard to its spatial aspects.
    
    It is considerably more difficult to analyse and remove its effect on a time basis. It would seem obvious that as cities grow the UHI affected area would grow, but whether increasing urbanisation increases UHI is not really well known.
    
    UHI does scale approximately with population – spatially – but again whether it does so temporally is not to my knowledge been well investigated.

    I was on the first expedition to go up that Glacier. It is a fast moving glacier and that means its healthy! It took us 4 days to get up it. backpacking our supplies in then we skied from west to east. Its bigger now than in 1974 when we did the trip. (RAF Trans Greenland expedition 1974)

  So it was the colonisation of 1791 that decimated the Moriori population not the invasion and massacre and enslavement by Ngati Tama and Ngati Mutunga in 1835. Who would have known.
  Have not actually been to the Chathams but have met quite a number, even went to boarding school with some. They are all interbred now of course. The colonisers, the invaders and the ‘massacrers’.
  They had some interesting stories to tell.
  I wish them well. It is great that those dastardly colonisers have so much money to give away.
  I just don’t know where they get it all from.

    As long as they are properly included, but they are a pretty minor footnote. They were and are the remnants of a tribe victimised on mainland NZ who fled to the Chathams several hundred years before the first European contact and established themselves with some interestingly different cultural rules – primarily one of personal non-violence.
    
    However they are Maori who arrived in NZ in the same wave of migration around 1250 CE (thereabouts) and only later split away when they fled to the Chathams.
    
    It would be interesting to know if they made their way to the Chathams before or after the demise of the double hulled travelling waka. To make the voyage in single hulled dugouts would be a fairly impressive feat.
    
    And none of this garbage about being a pre-Maori tribe of some sort which some crazies try to use to undermine legitimate first settlement claims by Maori.

      While I generally agree Albert, I do think we have one advantage here – in that Islamic foundational texts, law and teachings set people on the path.
      
      The Koran and Hadith (according to Muslims the perfect, inviolate, unalterable word of God) are riddled with notions that Muslims are superior, the unbelievers are second-class citizens and are free to be roughly treated and that, because it is God’s will, Muslims will ultimately inherit the Earth etc
      
      In this respect these texts are ‘evil’ and ‘good’ Muslims are those adherents who ignore such admonitions.
      
      Muslims in NZ are people who should be loved and held close – Islam, being the recipe for religious totalitarian control and domination of society must be rejected for the ‘evil’ that it is.

  If the community that someone either identifies with or is identified with by others, and the person states it is on behalf of that community, and the recognised leaders of that community do not denounce those actions, then I would agree that that community is effectively condoning those actions.
  Note it is not necessary to denounce each separate attack.
  
  It becomes more tricky when there is a confusion as to who are the legitimate leaders are, and the scope of the community.

And the other only dependable result – that less Maori than other ethnicity participated – is so predictable that it is surely a waste of time for the failed Census department to have worked it out, and as no good can come from telling us, is it in fact racist to do that – tell us?

It also gives details that he grew up in Aussie and was of Turkish decent.
But none of the local newspapers mention that he had recently converted to Islam or his facebook posts.

    It’s interesting how the media will treat this? They generally will downplay the Islamic connection and as you have done play out some sort of ideas about his mental illness or something. He will be labelled as a lone wolf. Above all the media will assume that this says nothing about the wider issue of Islamic terrorism in western countries. It’s just a lone wolf attack like so many lone wolf attacks that only appear to be done by Muslims. Nothing to see here just move on.
    
    In contrast the Christchurch Mosque killer was immediately labelled by the media as a white supremacist of the far right who is part of a pattern of white supremacist violence and far right terrorism.
    While actually the facts are that he was not part of any network, that he had no accomplices in New Zealand, that he had nothing to do with right wing groups in New Zealand and he is the literal definition of a lone wolf. But of course the media and our government did not see it that way.
    
    To me the correct interpretation is that this Sydney attack is a part of a pattern of Islamic violence and terrorism in western countries. It should be countered seriously with severe measures in my opinion.

      So, is this guy a nutter or an islamic terrorist? Here’s what I’ve read and seen –
      
      He has a history of mental illness and drug abuse and was hospitalised just last week. The police were notified when he skipped out.
      Police were reportedly already looking for him in relation to a domestic situation before this incident started.
      This incident started with a woman, known to Nuy, being killed in apartment in a frenzied knife attack.
      Nuy fled the seen, stabbing at people before getting up on a car, asking to be shot in the f**king face, and then shouting Allah Akbar. He flees from there.
      I saw CCTV footage of him later running, pursued by people with chairs and suchlike. He suddenly stops, runs to side of the footpath to kick a parked bicylce over at random (it’s almost funny), and then keeps on running away.
      
      Like the NSW police, I currently have trouble seeing this incident as Islamic terrorism. I saw no political/social/religious agenda. I know this won’t convince you and your agenda, but them’s the breaks.

  Surely Knott – quite right. To get a good read on what happened in Sydney you have to go to the British newspaper The Daily Mail who give you the proper information. He appears to be a man of Turkish descent who has recently converted to Islam. In a pattern that has been echoed all around the world, conversion to Islam does not make a man less violent, but more violent.
  
  He goes round knifing people and screaming out Allah Akbar. But reports are that his motives remain unclear?? You can’t make this up!
  
  Unfortunately this is the cultural diversity and wonderful cultural dividend that Australia is facing at the moment. We will get this too unless we wake up and severely restrict Muslim immigration. It’s not that I don’t like Muslim people, it’s a sad fact that the more Muslims you have in a Western country then the more problems that you have.

      It’s not utter BS, but it is overly simplistic. Islam doesn’t cause people to be violent – hundreds of millions of Muslims all over the world are living worthwhile, harmless lives with their families and not being violent.
      
      What it does do, is provide an excuse for people who already want to be violent. This guy was already a weirdo before he converted, he was not made a weirdo because he converted.
      
      Similarly, in earlier centuries, the cause of defending the Catholic faith did not make people into sadists; it provided an excuse for people who were already inclined towards sadism.

  The word denier implies the person is in denial about the truth which therefore assume climate change is the truth. Although not completely focused on Country Calendar on Sunday, I did have half an eye on it throughout and gained the impression that the farmer was a thoroughly decent hard-working guy came out from Indonesia aged 17 and has worked his way into a pretty solid position.

It’s disappointing that some chose to deride him all the show for no reason other than the fact that he is Muslim.

Bridges defends transport initiative after failed tech partnership

But that app and related work has now been shelved by the Transport Agency, after spending $5.5m.

It has pulled the plug on a failed partnership with a Silicon Valley company, Machine Zone (MZ), which was agreed without a robust business case by a unit of NZTA, Connected Journeys, which was recently scrapped amid ongoing investigations into how it awarded contracts.
The agency has changed tack to do more data collection and trip prediction, but has also expanded the MobilityOS project budget by another $19.5m.

I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there.
