- Massey University $353k, 3,351 staff
- St John, $321k, 3,622 staff
- Ngai Tahu, $312k, 779 staff
- Canterbury University, $302k, 2,620 staff
- Lincoln University, $287k, 614 staff
- St Kentigern Trust, $284k, 415 staff
An average salary of $500,000 for senior leadership is astonishing for such a small organisation.
