Rudd defeats Beazley

Rudd’s election may be good news for Australian Labor. Beazley couldn’t beat Howard but Rudd will have some chance of doing so. But whether he can unite his party behind him is the big question.

Very very tragic though that Kim Bezely learns his brother has died minutes after the vote to roll him.
