Yes DPF – incredible strength and agility. But one day she will fail her climbing roll and fall and like these base jumpers, people will say “what a tragedy”. If she wants to experience real nail biting fear and a huge adrenalin rush, she can try paying my mortgage.

I would normally like to applaud superlative achievement but alas I think this is just plain stupid.
The life risking enterprise is for no good reason other than to show off.
I can applaud astronauts taking enormous risks in pushing the bounds of human exploration and other such examples but not this.
As Brian commented, one day she is likely to fall and splat at the bottom and others will have to deal with the remains, police tell her next of kin etc.

Longknives – I agree – it is amazing to watch. However, when that little bit of rock crumbles and she falls most people will say ‘well it had to happen’ or ‘she died doing what she loved best’. If she played Russian Roulette would she just as amazing?

Voice of reason – Glass half empty kind of person? Give me a break mate. I have a rich full life complete with friends, socialising, family, kids, sports, love, etc etc – I think she is, as @Raging Glory said, a lunatic. Albeit a highly skilled athletic one.

Given that she is now 51 years old and has pretty much stopped climbing, the chances of her falling to her death are quite slim.
