And now Texas candidate Rick Perry has completely stuffed any chance he had. Is Obama gonna be re-elected because the Republicans can’t get a quality candidate together? I liked Cain; hope he can explain these accusations. Mormon Mitt Romney can’t seem to grow his support-base.

As I commented on the GD thread, Cain is the victim of smear-merchant and Obama buddy David Axelrod. Obama wouldn’t even be POTUS now if Axelrod hadn’t smeared the two frontrunners who stood in his way. Now he is doing it again to Cain.

If Redbaiter has any consistency he will be behind Cain, a proven businessman with no government corruption.
The smears against Cain are a badge of pride. Anybody who can terrify both the corrupt Demorats and the RINOS has got to be onto something.

Celebrity lawyer parades a few ‘victims’ through the media. Non Democrat black guy is the target. The antique media plays along. Cain answers a bunch of questions where lie detecting software is used. He comes through with flying colors. There was a high probability he was telling the truth. The other sides stuff is run through the program. There is a high probability they’re not telling the truth. It’s a take down. This wouldn’t be a problem for a black Democrat. Not with the quality of ‘evidence’ offered.
There will certainly be a lot of work for an incoming Attorney General after Jan 20th 2013. Solyndra, ACORN, Fast and Furious, Chicago in general. I hope they can hire a few people like Abe Fortas.

I read your GD post. Ann Coulter has some pretty fanciful conspiracy theories going on in her head. Even if we assume that Bialek and Axelrod living in the same building (a 70 story luxury apartment building) is too big a coincidence, it is not credible to believe that the settlements made with the Restaurant Association over ten years ago were part of an Axelrod conspiracy started in the late 90s on the off chance that Herman Cain ran for president in 2012.
Is it more likely that some Obama conspiracy is happening or is it more likely that what we see is evidence of a pattern of behaviour on the part of Cain? The reality is that Obama doesn’t even need to worry about Cain, he has no chance of winning. Cain’s ridiculousness is enough to lose him the general election without Obama’s help. Cain is just another in a long line of ridiculous candidates which appeal to the Tea Party types but has little chance of winning a general election.
A lot of Democrats complain about Obama saying he gives in too much to the Republicans and he’s not following through on a lot of his promises that appeal to lefties. The reason he isn’t is simple: he wants a second term and he can only do that by being a moderate democrat who can win the centre. The Republicans need to think along the same lines if they want to win. The “generic Republican” is beating Obama last time I checked the polls but the actual Republicans are losing and candidates like Cain are the reason why.

Oh the magical “lie detector”. Claimed to be effective by none other than….. yup, the people who sell them!
Lie detection has little scientific validity from what I can see.

I would put Mr Cain’s policies 3rd to Ron Paul (Michelle Bachman – 2nd), so I like Herman Cain’s political philosophies except that lately, his good image has been tarred with a few women coming out to claim that he sexually harassed them in the past. May Mr Cain was so h…. at the time and lost his judgement.

Weihana, I’m just saying that Axelrod has a habit of digging up stuff that might look incriminating and tends to distract voters, even when said incriminations turn out to be false (which has happened before). It’s not whether the allegations are true or not, it’s the effect it has on voters who, in the case of Obama, voted for him instead of what were the frontrunners. It’s the old ‘mud sticks’ thing.
In the game Obama and his Chicago buddies play, you had better not have done anything even the slighrest bit wrong in life, because they’ll find it and leverage it against you. I wonder why that is the reason all Obama’s records,transcripts, etc etc, have all been sealed? What is he hiding?
