Former Green candidate tells MP to kill herself

December 9th, 2013 at 9:54 pm by David Farrar

Mr Coyle stood for the Green Party in Hamilton in 2011, until he stood down for astro-turfing stories into the media.  Now imagine how major a story this would be if someone who stood for National in 2011 told a Green MP to go kill themself.

Now is this behaviour out of the ordinary for Mr Coyle, or was he known to be like this when selected in 2011. He was also their social media campaign co-ordinator for some time.

Johnboy, they stopped making good laws a few centuries ago. Most of what we see now are the ego driven fantasies of control freaks and authoritarians.

Where I draw a very clear line is when people try to use the force of the armed state to direct what we can say. It is an obvious attempt at thought policing. History has proven time and again what such people are capable of. I would rather have murderers walking the street than those who wish to restrict freedom of speech. They are neither moral or good people and should never be trusted.

Coyle may no longer be a Green Party member, but he is still very active campaigning on left-wing causes. He was social media coordinator for the anti-GCSB Bill protests earlier in the year, and his Facebook page is full of attacks on the Government. It also features a photograph of him posing with Gareth Hughes (republished on the post below), so he clearly hasn’t cut his ties with Green MP’s completely.

The Green Party needs to publicly denounce Coyle’s comments today. It may even be worth a referral to the police to see whether he has broken the law by effectively inciting Collins to commit suicide.

Steve – he was a Hamilton West candidate but withdrew part way through the campaign after his trumped up story was revealed.

Green Party candidate Max Coyle has stood down as Hamilton West candidate after admitting misleading the Waikato Times.

Hamilton Green Party spokesman Mark Servian said Mr Coyle had agreed to step down “in the light of things that have occurred”.

Mr Coyle’s partner, Melissa Campbell, appeared in a story in the newspaper on Monday about the young mum’s likely voting intentions but she did not reveal her partner’s role in the Greens.

“He is still going to continue his role in the Green Party in a voluntary capacity,” Mr Servian said.

Hamilton West now would not have a Greens candidate in November’s election.

The answer is of course NOTHING. I do not believe the behaviour of any ex-MP or party member reflects on the Party themselves, and it is absolute stupidity to try and associate it.

Clearly Mr Coyle has mental health issues or temper issues, as does anyone that suggests another person should kill themselves – however, I can sympathize with his dislike of JC – she does seem to have a knack of bringing out the worst in people. But she will improve with age – she has learned over the last year to be a little less loose with her mouth – give her another ten years and she might be about right. :-)

“The guy is no longer a Green MP/Candidate, so I fail to see why this has been mentioned in line with the party.”

Because like all Greens he will be telling lies.

Remember how the ever expanding female co-leader of the Greens refused to be drawn on her part in the vandalising of National party election hoardings?
Remember how the Green party ripped off the tax payer via the housing rort and then pretended they did not know they were breaking the law?

There is a rule of thumb when dealing with the Greens, trust nothing they say and nothing they do.

A message from Max at Re Coyle:

Thankyou for continuing to publicise my comments so more people can see this fascist big brother state for what it is. Every time you right right wing nut jobs pick up on what I say I gain even more followers, friends and messages of support. My inbox has been filled with people backing me up, and turning their minds and hearts against this government and sending messages of support. Cheers!

He’s even further outside Greens than David Hay, so not sure how he will make much political progress. Mana Party?

In reality, he is an unemployed dreamer and petty criminal whose plans fall through because of laziness and disorganisation.

Learnt not to tangle with Judith Collins? Are you serious? Fuck her. FailOil and Key’s pet The Penguin haven’t stressed me out in the slightest, this has ignited the best debate about the draconian Harmful Digital Communications Act since the terrible piece of legislation was first announced.

Perhaps this will support an educational clause for Party reps to have at least an NCEA qualification.

    Perhaps above lvl 4.

‘Green Party candidate Max Coyle has stood down as Hamilton West candidate ‘

Second Green candidate who had to step down in Hams.

Hamilton obviously gives the Greens a false sense of security. Lol.

    Fascist big brother state?

This guy is clearly a moron with zero concept of fascism (obviously hasn’t read the history of some of his heroes).

If NZ was a fascist state, do morons such as Mr Coyle really think they’d be able to make comments like this?

27 year old student. FFS get a job and contribute something. Something tells me when this guy gets a mental age of more than about 13, he may look back in embarrassment.

Entirely reasonable Chuck Bird, 08 55, The only one I recall was Larnach of Castle fame. Topped himself at parliament over being ruined financially and his favourite son having it off with his much younger wife, used a revolver.

Having a go at the Greens about this is all a bit rich coming from supporters of the parties that selected Aaron Gilmore not once but TWICE in an electable list position, and knowingly selected an identity thief in a high-ranking list position.

At least the Greens worked out that Coyle & Hay were not MP material before they got elected to Parliament.

toad – Coyle wasn’t on the Green list in 2011. Do you know if he opted out or was left out by the party? Seems unusual for an electorate candidate to not be included.
