        If that was what they are doing, I would agree with you.
        Instead they are manipulating laws and processes, in an attempt to form one international govt. that is pack driven and allows no individual thought and therefore freedom.
        Politicians decide what is best for us.
        The UN could have prevented ISIS but didn’t, they stood on the sidelines and criticized those that acted and solved the “caliphate” problem.

• Ardern comments on the “very damaging” nature of Folau’s comment – “very mindful of the fact he is for many a role model” – considering the vulnerability of Rainbow teens, and perhaps not noticing “idolators” were eighth on the list.

• Israel Folau’s pastor father advises his son if he takes down the post, as Israel is about to do – if he does not stand by the word of the Lord, which, being a misquote, is not the Lord’s word – he, Israel, will be the one going to Hell.

• The sacked Wallabies star has set a goal to fundraise A$3 million in donations to help support his legal action against Rugby Australia via a GoFundMe page, which

• has a disclaimer, with no guarantee all the money will go towards his legal costs.

• The Australian’s Business Review has reported the former Wallabies star boasts a burgeoning A$5.6 million (NZ$5.8m) eight property portfolio.

Then there is Brian Tamaki, commenting on the political / religious force that is Islam, as he organises Destiny Church to become a political force …

  Sydney man Jay Taylor started the change.org campaign on Friday, June 21. In two days the petition has over 17,000 signatures – exceeding the initial 15,000 target.

“The prime minister’s daughter, Neve Te Aroha, has received a special and iconic gift from the Duke of Cambridge himself for her first birthday.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s fiance Clarke Gayford posted on Twitter congratulating Prince William, who shares the same birthday as Neve, along with pictures of the gift.

  Look at the overwrought criticism of the tuxedo Donald Trump wore to a white tie dinner with the Queen (seriously, get a life – everybody looks ridiculous in a tuxedo, ill-fitting or otherwise). Yet the ‘woke’ Duchess of Sussex can burn as much carbon as she likes (shades of Ardern!) to attend a baby shower in New York with a bunch of celebrities.

      Perhaps you have a point that the closer he gets to the levers of power, the less he will champion his long held belief that Britain’s monarchy should be abolished. The royal family is, after all, on a bit of a popularity and PR roll, after the low point in the 1990s with divorces and Diana. As I mentioned, I don’t like the guy, but he is a noted long-term supporter of a British republic, with elected head of state. How he’d behave if he became PM is anyone’s guess, though – it should be noted Ardern appears to have fully embraced the Monarchy despite support of republicanism before becoming PM.
      
      In any case, Corbyn doesn’t currently appear to be seeking selfies with the Sussexes, to his credit.

  Is it your contention that Muslims, alone of all the interest groups in New Zealand – environmentalists, gun owners, teachers, feminists, farmers, sports fans, creationists, musicians, cancer sufferers, motorists etc – should not be allowed to make policy demands?

  The argument seems to be that DAP changed its name to NSDAP to steal Socialist support (the S).
  
  By that logic, they also stole nationalism by adding the N.
  
  Still, DAP = German Worker’s Party ie Labour Party.
  
  They really can’t because NSDAP was socialist in name and action, as were the Fascists.
  
  All of them are based on socialist principles:
  * collectivism
  * state control
  * massive authoritarianism
  
  They are only called the “right” because they are the right wing of socialism (the left wing of socialism being communism).

School students and children demonstrated nation-wide in action against climate change, or whatever term supposed “man-triggered warming” now has, and cities have called a “state of emergency”, but are the young betrayed by the Government – in the Coalition promise to plant one billion trees – to sequester carbon and stabilise ground?

… commercial replanting over the next 10 years would have a “significant impact” on the 1 billion trees total … “For example, if the recent 95 per cent replanting rate was maintained over the next decade, this would equate to 770m trees.” – Shane Jones, Cabinet paper, August, 2018 [1]

So Shane needs plant only 230 million trees, to add to Forestry’s 770m, and claim he has fulfilled the Coalition Election Agreement promise – yes, “commercial Forestry” was never initially mentioned – but now Jones can plant less than a quarter of the original 1 billion, “to keep his word”.

Then there is Forestry’s “95% replanting rate”, which seems to mean that while they plant 770m trees, elsewhere Forestry will fell 731.5m (95%) mature trees, so actually leaving a net number of 38.5 million to add to Shane’s 230m – or 268.5 million in total, rather than the 1 billion,

Meanwhile a Report by Environment Commissioner Simon Upton says –
“While forests can be long-lived, they cannot be regarded as permanent. Their increasing exposure to climate change impacts through … pests, pathogens and erosion [and fires], further underscores their impermanence” …
How long a felled log holds onto its carbon depends what it was harvested for – the report says if the tree becomes part of a building it may remain out of the atmosphere for many decades, but if the same tree is turned into paper, the carbon may return to the atmosphere in a matter of months.
“Most logs are exported to China, India and South Korea where they are converted into products with varying lifetimes … when aggregated, the decay curves for these logs indicate that in just over two years half the carbon in exported logs has been returned to the atmosphere,” says the report. [2]

So sequestering carbon in forests is simply “kicking the can down the road” as this Government is very apt to do – considering its many committees and working groups – and Ardern’s description of climate change issues being this generation’s “nuclear moment” may be more akin to storing approximately 1 million tons of nuclear contaminated water from the tsunami-crippled Fukushima Daiichi power plant in Okuma, Japan. [3]
Some day they will have to face “What to do with it?”

So, the fact Shane may never plant more than about 230 million trees – roughly a quarter of the billion promised and the goal is headed towards Kiwibuild-level achievements – may in fact be good for coming generations, but surely the taxpayer funds being wasted on this token gesture would be better spent actually stopping emissions in the first place.

And it doesn’t matter if you are the self-proclaimed champion of the regions, the back-woodsman Davy Crockett (Raised in the woods so he knew ev’ry tree) style political marvel of oratory – a lie is still a lie.
Tell the school children the truth …

  It operates like an organised religion. High priests who must be obeyed with little question (scientists/politicians), scriptures (reports), penance (small unrelated acts of self-sacrifice that achieve nothing, apart from assuaging moral guilt), get them while their are young and scare them (a warning of hellfire/warming/biblical floods), collect tithes (taxes).

Gunshack Blenheim owner Peter Watson said he had received calls from people in Marlborough, and around the country, saying they would not be handing in their guns.
“In reality the price is fair, but what they’ve taken away is not fair,” Watson said. “They’ll go to ground and keep them until a change of Government or a change of policy.”

Several collection events would be held across New Zealand before December 20, when the amnesty to surrender firearms, parts, magazines and ammunition would end.

So now being an amnesty, one assumes then that after December 20, 2019, any gun the police acquire, will be forfeit – no payment – and the person in possession of it prosecuted, I guess.

Have the Police, politicians or media mentioned any penalties yet?

The illegal National Party ad is allowing the hypocrites from the left like Bryce Edward’s to push for a conviction, but points that gets missed is that this happened with Sir Patrick Hogan and Matt McCarten’s with their different ventures one that was using interns to canvas the public for Labour on the phone and cold canvassing paid by a anonymous donors was the excuse ,then the other was a full page ad for NZ First with support from the Racing Fraternity both were dismissed with a slap from a wet bus ticket. As soon as this is done by a National supporter the media and academics want to see National and the supporter convicted. What Matt McCarten’s did was calculated and disgraceful compared to this and the laws need to apply to all not just some.

I thought I would write something due to the amount of people that seem to want to keep correcting how I write.

I spend all my waking day lite headed. A lot of the times things get mixed up in my head and no longer come out how I have them in my head.

Thanks David for the chance to express myself on your posts but I’m actually tired of having people point out that I get things wrong. It never used to be like this and it just is a constant reminder of how messed up I’m getting.
