Cyber Law Research Fellow

The Dominion Post has an article on the appointment of Dr Judit Bayer as Victoria University’s first Cyber Law Research Fellow.

The position is primarily funded by InternetNZ and I’m on the management committee for the fellowship. The area of Internet law is a fascinating one as it is so relatively new with few precedents. I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the reseach, with the hope they may be able to help influence a more coherent set of laws in NZ.
